So when did it happen?

Of course, I'm talking about Welcome Welcome posts being added to post counts. And to what tune did Shin benefit? Please give the measurement in cock inches.

Damn, and I thought nobody would beat Sass to it. :(

Are testing posts included too? Don't answer that, I will perform a test.

edit: No

No, Shin isn't in the top 10 poster list, you may go back to your regularly scheduled programming.

No. Hard Pass. Dec 5, 2006 07:36 PM

I think they only did it this time around because Shin isn't posting as often as he used to. It's a big ol' fuck you to the English bastard.

Postcount was originally disabled in Welcome Welcome to stop people copy/pasting replies for postcount. We reckon that nobody cares about postcount anymore and wouldn't bother so postcount was turned back on in there. Also, there's never previously been a mod who hangs around Welcome as much as I do to keep an eye on it. Rest assured that anyone who is obviously posting for postcount in the Welcome forum will be banned from that forum with extreme prejudice. I know the Welcome forum better than probably anyone else knows any other forum, I think you can all trust me to look after it.

I poked it and it made a sad sound Dec 6, 2006 09:47 AM

What the bloody hell do you mean. I don't particularly give a good goddamn about postcount - why would I care about post count being turned on in there?

(I think it's a pretty good idea, really.)

I really hope testing doesn't get turned on, though. Testing is just, you know, a spam fest as it is. While its a fun playground and a great facet to the community, I hope it stays the way it is. <3

But yea - awesome. =D
