just reformated computer and no sound!!
I just reformated a emachine T5052 using the factory MCE operating system disk and the computer now has no sound driver. I tried installing the one the emachine tech people said were for my computer.
I have included some screen shots. Can someone direct me to where the audio driver would be for this computer? http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/ I tried all 3 from here and they don't work. The speakers are usb powered and they do play audio when I plug a mp3 player to it. |

I have used the driverguide toolkit program and it says this:

I have found this site
http://www.emachine-upgraders.info/d...erboards.shtml I think this is my motherboard, because the gateway tech guy's pointed me to this site http://www.emachine-upgraders.info/d.../D101GGC.shtml The driver listed here doesn't work, because I still don't have no sound. |
If this is your motherboard then surely one of these drivers will work for you.

Thanks for the site, I'm getting the audio file now. I'll let you know if it works in a few minute.
What is this bus driver thing? |
I'm not too sure what that is, it may have something to do with the Chipset driver. Have you downloaded and installed that yet? It may be that you have to install that first before the sound.

where do I find this "chipset" driver? Because emachine only included a operating system cd.
Double Post: I've brought a new sound card and solved the problem. thanks for the help guys! |
