stupid quicktime

ok since today now any embed quicktime video doesn't work...

every time that I try to watch one, I get massive slow down and my computer crash...

anyone else having this problem or know what could cause this problem?

Double Post:
ok any there's no quicktime video working on my computer... I tried uninstalling it and re-installing quicktime but it still don,t want to work...

nope I still have the same problem...

it's weird because all HD quicktime video I can watch them without any problem but all normal quicktime video I get massive slow down and have to ctrl+alt+del to close the player or browser...

Double Post:
ok I found the solution of my problem, I have to put it in safe mode (GDI only) because by the directx it doesn't work anymore...

but my question now is, why was it working before and not anymore... and could this mean that there's a bigger problem if it doesn't work with directx?

try to uninstall all codec you have on your pc after that delele all files on
WINDOWS\system32 with extension ax & acm or use Codec Sniper to remove any codc you want it.

still have the same problem ... (I'm not even sure if I was able to uninstall all codec I didn't want to play with the codec sniper)

I guess I'll have to format and start over >.<
