http://boku-sim.jp/imgs/ss/ss03.jpg http://boku-sim.jp/imgs/ss/ss02.jpg http://boku-sim.jp/imgs/ss/ss01.jpg .. JAPAN. http://img105.exs.cx/img105/9195/j5bmutantbaby.gif Official site, has a trailer of some sort. Still has all the house building stuff and all that, they've just injected a gignatic amount of Animal Crossing into it. But you know, without the animals. I hope they release this version outside of Japan just so everyone gets angry. No idea if it's gonna be online or what yet. |
SIMSU DESU.
This is made of loli and |
EWWW this doesn't look so good. It'd be cool if it has an online mode though.
Sims are best on computers anyway. |
I've heard apparently it uses the Mii feature. However, the characters don't resemble Miis, so I'm going to assume it grabs Mii data and uses their appearance in conjunction with the game's art style...
Cool? Maybe. |
I could see this working, if it used Mii's and worked like an international MMORPG.
...but that most likely won't happen, and it's probably just a chibi japanized version of The Sims. The potential's there, but EA don't seem to like using potential at all. http://boku-sim.jp/imgs/ss/ss03.jpg Wow. This really resembles Prontera in RO. hotlinking infernal? bad infernal. :( |
Dengeki Online has released a nice article about the game (Japanese, yeah i can read something) and their confirmed that the game will get an online mode and it will got some extras with the Nintendo DS, also it seems that Will Wright is also putting some ideas on it.
|
Oh man, I wonder what Will Wright thinks of this.

Is it EA proper that's developing this or is it Maxis (which works inside EA, like Origin did)? |

I think this looks like fun, The Sims needed more cute. I never cared for the original Sims [2], but I really enjoyed the Urbz. I'm guessing this will end up being closer to the Urbz than the original Sims.
Anyway, it isn't like this is going to be brought to the rest of the world. If Non-Asian countries get The Sims, it'll be the version everyone else knows and loves |
Looks cute. Hopefully it's better than the other Sims games.

Honestly, I like the look. But this game better be online.
|
I just vom'd in my throat. I wish they would stop making games that look like GC games on the Wii. Did they forget it is a little more powerful than an XBOX?!?!?!?!
Never have been a Sims fan but it might be cool if they implement Mii compatibility. |
Or maybe the power to use your Mii as a model for your character in-game. They Chibi-ize it even further, and then that's how your character is made. All YOU have to do is add clothes and a monocle.
|
I think it looks awesome ^^ but yeah it better be Online :)
|
"Boku Sim", "My Sim"? I see. Sorta makes sence. I wonder if they talk in the same gibberish that they did in The Sims.
But as the Wii's online, I can easily see stuff like posters, dolls and junk being avaliable and quite posibly being made homebrew. |
Hmm, interesting style, but hopefully they could add in a bit more than the current sims has. I found the original to be quite boring.
Oh and better be online etc. |
Looks like
NVM, it's more like Lego Online. |
I'm definitely going to follow this one. My favorite part of the trailer is when the emo looking kid is angryily/happily stomping on flowers. ='D
I could never get into the Sims because of the whole uncanny valley thing going on. Way too creepy looking. |
