Software to check/protect image integrity?

I wonder if someone could point me out the appropriate software... It seems I have some issue of corrupting images in my hdd, checking their integrity one by one is pretty tedious and lengthy. Is there any software that could check/protect image integrity so they wont be corrupted? I would be really thankful if someone could help me on this ^__^

You can use an MD5 checksum to verify the integrity of any file on your HD, not just images. Run the tool to create a checksum, and then you check it against that sum in the future to see if the file has been changed.

I have downloaded the software, I think it's pretty useful though it doesnt protect the files from corruption. Thanks for the help ^__^

There is little you could do to protect integrity outside of redundancy; that's usually the standard way to "protect" any bit of data.

In short, go make copies and put them on different physical disks.
