Things that make your stomach turn
 

Like, I totally didn't think I would get dizzy from a blood test I needed to take. I went to the doctor's office and the nurse did most of the work. I see blood in tv and how surgeon's operate on people, and I'm like totally fine with it, shit.
But, when I saw that needle, I had to turn my head and close me eyes. I didn't see blood at all, just the feeling of having that needle in my anticubital region for a minute to fill that tube up with blood, really made me nauseation.
I close my eyes, and then in a few seconds, you would see my delicious face drenched with sweat. It was like I was giving birth to a cockroach. My stomach started hurting and I had my eyes wide open and saw pitch black. And, the nurses started talking to me, and I couldn't answer them.
I was like =0. WTF, this never happened to me before.

So, what were a few things that you thought never made you feel sick, but eventually did and you least expect it.:boxing:

Absolutely nothing.

But as far as needles, ever since I was little I had a serious problem getting my throat touched, and especially the area on your arm on the other side of your elbow where, unfortunately, blood is drawn. A few years ago I had a nurse draw it from my hand, but about six months ago the new nurse wasn't so understanding and forced me to get poked in the traditional area. Luckily she was good and I hardly felt a thing but still.

Also, years ago I had a barn owl & when it was a chick you had to cut up it's food which consisted of baby chickens. Cutting the head off, fine, through the chest, fine, legs of - no problem, abdomen however, fucking hell. It basically puts you off eggs forever. The yolk's still there, messy, horrible, no thanks.

This may sound weird but even the thought of this makes me feel pretty sick; you know those chocolates in the shape of an orange that have orange filling? Ya... the taste of those make me throw up.

Well same as the above, but I'm more distant with chocolates with wine inside... >_< Ick....

Bullshit. The body has several involuntary reactions that you can't supress. For example, smelling vomit has a lovely habit of making people gag, dry heave or at the very least simply turn away.

Let's pay more attention now.

Haha okay then back on track. I have to say...the smell of eggs make me sick. I'm not...really a big fan of eggs. Dunno why. I just...can't stand it.

Chocolate baking. Seriously. I love Chocolate chip cookies, cake, and brownies. But smelling them cook makes me nauseous. I still don't know why.

Haha, reminds me of when I was about 12 and my mom, her boyfriend, my grandma and I went out to eat. My mom got wasted and vomited in the backseat. For some reason me and her mother had to clean up the mess and, without warning, she vomited on my hands because it apparently overwhelmed her. Fucking disgusting.

I dunno anymore, sometimes I encouter stuff that makes me gag and stuff. But the usual stuff that makes people's stomach turn don't affect me that much. Blood, dead animals, animal guts, stench of garbage, a pile of poop, vomit, etc. But don't get me wrong, these stuff do make me sick sometimes, especially massive amounts of vomit or poop. Especially if it has that stingy stench/smell, that usually makes me gag or vomit.

I guess the smell of vomit makes me want to gag, seeing someone vomit has the same effect on me. Avocado makes me want to vomit as well, it is a vile fruit.

For me, this has got to be the smell of canned tuna. Even if someone by me is eating a tuna salad sandwich I get a little nauseous.

Seeing wounds or surgeries or anything similar doesn't affect me at all. But, when I hear a verbal account of those, or read about it, my body gets light and I feel sick. Normally, when people get some kind of operation, it's polite to ask how it went, but people always describe the process, and I hate that. Some guy did that at work last year and my whole face turned red and I had to sit down after he finished his story. Before getting my wisdom teeth removed (the process was fine), the dentist was warning me of the remote problems that can occur, and I passed out on the floor. I don't know why it only occurs when those things are put into words though, maybe my mind just gets carried away on its own.

I have never felt sick at the sight or smell or thought of anything, ever. Seriously. They only time I ever feel sick like that is when I am physically ill.

Although the thought of nasty kitchen sponges disgusts me.

TheKnight's post reminded me of how disgusted people used to get over Divest's avatar. I wonder if they ever did get him to change it before he was banned.

Aside from the first post, I remember in six grade, I had to disect a frog. It was a female frog. The smell was absolutely awful. It wasn't so much the cutting, just that smell pounding in my face and filling my sinuses up. I couldn't eat for 3 days after, because any kinds of food, smelt like dead frog. :p then in college, I had Anatomy and Physiology, and we had to disect cats. I thought I would get sick again, but I didn't. I think it's a frog thing, they're slimey.
