Scanning a CD's label side...
1 Attachment(s)
Anyone know if it's safe to use a scanner to capture a CD's label? Just scanned my copy of the Escaflowne Movie OST (VICL-60590), left right in the jewel case and for some reason it looks a bit different now. I really don't know how to describe it, but it looks brighter than it did before. Though, can't even recall what it looked like before to be honest. Just seems like the label portion is more noticeable...
If anyone knows where a scan of it I can use to compare it, please let know. Thanks! Either way, below is the scan. |
Could you post it?

Just did, actually... ;)

I think I get what you're saying...you're talking about the etched bits on the inside circumference of the disc, right? If so, I think it's just a result of the scanning, the scan light reflecting off of it, etc.

Actually, I am talking about the white frosty looking portion. Don't think it was that bright before scanning and it's what the CD still looks like, not just in the scan...
