Animating GIFs in browsers don't work
In firefox, and IE, animated GIFs do not animate. Sometimes they will when I reboot my computer, but it seems most of the time they're never working. GIFs WILL animate through WinXP's preview program, it seems to be a browser exclusive problem (IE and Firefox). I think this problem may be tied with the one where when I save a gif off of a website, it sometimes wants to save as a .BMP file. And if I save what should be an ANI GIF, it only saves the one frame that is showing. Also, most of the time if my computer's been on for a day, it's not likely that my GIFs will want to animate. This has been occurring for probably months.
Any suggestions would be great, thanks. |
Are you running any pop-up blocker or anything? (Zone Alarm, etc)
Also, make sure "play animations in web pages" in checked: Start -> Control Panel -> Internet Options -> Advanced Tab (Should be unde rmultimedia) |
