Wireless USB Adapters
 

I think that's what it's called, something you can plug into the USB port of a computer that has an internet connection to serve as an access point for wireless internet. What would you guys recommend as a good brand for these. I want one that's USB because apparently, they don't want routers in the dorms. A USB would blend in as a flash drive, so that's my rationale. So....suggestions?

I usually look for something by a well-known manufacturer (like Linksys, Netgear, Belkin, et cetera) beforehand, though.

I've not heard of issues with any specific brand.

So, basically just price. What's the general strength of these anyways? I know they all specify a max range, but about what range do they become unusable due to week signal strength?
