HORRIBLE Ram Timings!
Ok, I've got big problems with my memory. My mobo wants to crash anytime i manually set my ram speeds where they should be, and they are setting them incredibly low by default. Not sure what is going on here. I have 2 sticks of these:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145416 CPUZ reports these settings: Frequency: 166.9Mhz FSB:DRAM: CPU/15 CAS Latency: 3 RAS To CAS Delay: 3 RAS Precharge: 3 Cycle Time: 6 Bank Cycle Time: 22 Command Rate: 2T Idle Timer: 16 There's a couple other numbers in my bios with equally atrocious settings. I have an ATI Radeon X1900XT, a AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600+, and my memory is shitting on my investment! lol :). But anyway..... Yeah. Big problems here. |
If the memory's not running at stock speeds, one of hte sticks is screwed up. RMA that shit.
