Another Plush toy... =O
 

Well... after a pretty weird attempt at creating a scarecrow plush toy, I'm back on track. This time it's not a scarecrow... it's just a weird a-nightmare-before-christmas-like guy I made for a friend's birthday. It is intended to be all fucked up. I'd like some feedback on it. :)

Heh, that's pretty interesting. Any pointers for beginners who want to make their own plush doll? I want to try and make my own Lizardcommando plush doll. :D

I really doubt I'm the best to point anyone in any direction of making their own plush doll... I don't even know what kind of doll I'll make until I start cutting the cloth. I don't draw the parts on a paper nor do I know how to use a needle correctly. Heck, I don't even know the english name of all the materials I use. I just start cutting, sewing (?) and just look what comes out. I'm pretty lucky to have good results, I guess.

I didn't know you were into plushies, paisano. This one looks great, have you thought about selling them a la Pixelgirl? I'm sure you could get some good money out of it.

I don't think I'm ready to sell any plush toy I make. You see, even though it looks nice, it's not as... usable as an actual plush toy. It's fragile and more like a decoration piece. If I ever learn how to sew properly, I'll try to sell it. :P In the meantime they are great presents for girls. :)

Very neat! I get the strong impression of it being a voodoo doll of some sort when I look at it. It's still cute though.
