Torrent - Restrict upload to Specific IPs
 

Hiyas !

Long thing short, several buddies of mine need to complete a certain torrent in the next 5 hours.

I would like to help speed things up, but the torrent in question is very popular and my upload is getting lost in the crowd.

I would like to be able to connect to the torrent but send only to my friend's IPs.

Anyone knows a way?

Use Azureus, go to details and you can see the ip's connected.

Yeah, found out about that way, but it's quite messy and you have to monitor the whole thing in case they get disconnected and you have to re-allow all IPs.

Ah well ... time's running fast. You guys can still answer to this thread for future references, but it's too late for me already. Started using an alternative way an hour ago.

You can also just make the torrent and use trackers that has very low in users. Then, send the torrent or the link to your torrent file you made to your friends. There are also trackers that won't display what file(s) it tracks too.
