ChocoSig
So I've had this little Spider-Man sig in ChocoSig forever. I try to upload a new one and preview it, and it's still Spider-Man. Am I dumb, or is there a limit of, like, 1 :(.

I should check that source sometime...

Are you teeling me that this whole time it was because I was writing it as a jpg extension and not a gif? Wow.
...thanks by the way |
No, that's wrong.
It seems chocosig stores two sigs for you. One with either extension. http://www.gamingforce.com/forums/ch...hocosig-80.gif http://www.gamingforce.com/forums/ch...hocosig-80.jpg See? I have no idea why I uploaded an old avatar into chocosig. I must be stupid. |

So let me get this straight - you can upload a total of 2 signatures into ChocoSig, as long as they both are of different extension types - .jpg and .gif.
My Spider-Man sig was originally uploaded as a .jpg, and my Mega Man was a .gif, so when I was entering the location of my sig and using the .jpg extension, it would show my Spider-Man sig because that is what was currently uploaded as a .jpg? |
You got it.
If your current sig's address ends with .jpg, then you have to change it to whatever the new extension is. |
This is just a suggestion, and I don't even know if this can be fixed or not, but when you upload an image into ChocoSig, it gives you the ChocoSig vBCode (basically the location of the sig you uploaded), and it always lists it with a .jpg extension. Even if you uploaded a .gif image. This is what was confusing me at first, as I was just copying and pasting that code that it gave me.
I know it’s now a very minor issue to me since I now know what the problem is, but to prevent it from happening in the future with other users who don’t know better, is it possible to rewrite this so it always produces a link with the proper extension of the image? Just a suggestion I guess… |
