DX9 performance anomalies.
 

Here's a strange thing I noticed while messing around trying to silence my computer by making it run slower (and therefore cooler). I underclocked it a lot and as I expected, most things ran much slower. Just for a laugh at the now-pitiful performance I loaded up this particular DX9 benchmark and was surprised by the results. I tested FEAR and it ran a lot more smoothly too for some reason. I was wondering if anyone else was able to reproduce this strange phenomenon?

The cause of my query should be obvious from the picture. It isn't a fake, i'm just genuinely confused.

i don't know, maybe your pc is unstable going that fast.

on another note, faster cpu shouldn't help out that test out anyway, since it is mainly a graphics card test.
