Black Lagoon The Second Barrage
 

A raw version of the new season has just been released.
For those that are new to the series here's a summary of the last season.

When Okajima Rokuro visits Southeast Asia carrying a top secret disk, he is kidnapped by pirates riding in the torpedo boat, “Black Lagoon”. Although he thought he would be rescued soon, the company actually abandons him, and sends mercenaries to retrieve the secret disk. He narrowly escapes with his life, but has nowhere to go. He gives up his name and past, and resolves to live as a member of the Black Lagoon.

So basicly the black lagoon group continue going through jobs in the second season.
I only browsed through the first episode since its not subtitled yet but I saw a new character being put into place that looks like a blonde version of levy. I havn't read the manga but I am very interested in her ^_^.

A new Black Lagoon series? That's cool. I was a fan of the first one. Revy/Levy or however you pronounce her name is one tough-jawed bitch. She's like Lara Croft with a sinister attitude. I love it. I loved the action in the first season too. The plot was decent, but I wish they showed more of the characters' backgrounds. I hope they dive into the details in the second season and I also hope Rock does more than play the usual 'pawn' type half-weakling with potential intelligence.

When the fuck does Rock get to use a gun?! I've seen him in a pic of the Black Lagoon crew on the deck of their torpedo boat, wearing a shoulder holster and holding a gun in one hand. It's about time he shows a bit more spine and gets to kick Levy's ass for once. That'd be cool.

Wooo, awesome. I demand more presence of smg's in Second Barrage =D.

I demand more presence of Revy making holes in people.

Though I've been wondering whether or not Rock will have to kill someone eventually. I mean, it's bound to happen in that line of work. Seeing his reaction when Revy passed him an assault rifle in episode 1, I'd say he hasn't handled any gun before.

Rock should also ditch his current "company worker" outfit for a new one. I think it's time for him to make changes. Unless there's an explanation that I missed out on.

Just finished watching it and all I can think about are those twisted kids o-o
Next episode looks full of action, can't wait.

Heh, that episode was sorta creepy, not exactly something I'd expect from Black Lagoon. I don't dislike this, but I wish we'd have seen the main characters a bit more. Oh well, now that they've introduced the twins, I guess they can focus on everything else.

It was alright. This IS after all, only the start of the second season so I'll let this one go.

I agree that the incest twins thing was something I disliked about the ep. Otherwise, things are shaping up nicely, so hopefully it will turn out as good as / better than season one.

The first season was great, and luckily we won't have to wait an year to see the new season !
I"ll try to watch it today.

The latest episode was a bit too silly. I hope they get back into the more serious and darker side for the following few episodes. The prior episodes with the twins were twisted. That's what I want to see in Black Lagoon.

I was hoping to catch more action from the nun but I was left with dissapointment ;_;
Those twins really freaked me out, more twisted than the ones from shakugan no shana and they had a much more darker back story.
I'm hoping to see more of revy's past or see rock in some action in later episodes but I won't have my hopes up for that :/

The new season of Black Lagoon is so very cool I love Revy with her gun action lol

the characters and the animation is just top class
it makes you hunger for more

just one thing is meh about this season and thats the background info about the other members other than revy

Dont you people think that Revy looks like the Sister person and change the hair color....That is what I think

Somehow, that name just doesn't sound good to me. He gets points for the broomhandle, though.

Also, I have to say I've laughed quite a bit during that episode. The Church of Violence is a laugh riot.

"As Luke said "It is better to make friends, albeit with unlawful money"".
"Do you know what Jesus said in John Chapter 5? He said "don't bring me any trouble, bitch"".

If all nuns were like those, the catholic church wouldn't have the problem it has now.

Well episode 18 had its fill of interesting facts that may or may not have made the story more complicated later on in the series.

Granted I haven't read the manga, I'm probably gonna get around to reading it once the holidays come along.

The ending to that episode was also a real mouth opener. ;)

Thought I might just let everyone know that the second series of Black Lagoon has finished with a rather simple ending, much like the ending in the first series.

Any mention of a third series wasn't made but I would sure like to see another series come out for this anime.

indeed the ending was simple but damn that was a good fight tho
these types of anime can have like 13 seasons and it wouldn't get old
we'll see if a another season happens all depends on how popular it is in japan.
