Burger King Xbox / 360 games, pretty expensive

Four bucks each! Here's where I do lots of quoting from the mayo!

The three games will be playable on either the Xbox or Xbox 360, although a Burger King representative told GameSpot there will be no achievements for 360 players to earn. "These are not backward-compatible original Xbox games, but truly designed and developed for each platform separately," the Burger King representative said. "There are two versions on each disc, specifically made for each platform. This has never been done before for a title." They will be available from November 19 through December 24 at participating Burger King locations for $3.99 with the purchase of a value meal. All of the games are rated E for Everybody.

Pocketbike Racer will feature a number of Burger King mascots, including the King, the Subservient Chicken, the Whopper Jr., and former host of E!'s Wild On series, Brooke Burke. Five levels will be included, as will multiplayer races for four people on the same Xbox or Xbox 360, or eight people online over Xbox Live.

Big Bumpin' also takes a lineup of BK mascots and pits them against one another in vehicular competition, but this game isn't a race so much as a bumper-car ride. The game features a number of theme-park settings and on-track hazards like saws and bottomless pits, as well as bump-pumping power-ups. Big Bumpin' will also have four-player action and online multiplayer support.

Finally, Sneak King takes the stealth action genre and puts it to a friendlier use than usual. Instead of tiptoeing behind enemy guards to silently snap their necks, players will sneak up on hungry people to surprise them with offerings of Burger King food. Gamers will have to sneak up on people in a logging yard, a construction site, downtown, and the suburbs, and they will be graded on their performance "based on how elaborate the delivery is executed."

SNEAK KING = GOTY

YO PITTSBURGH MIKE HERE Oct 2, 2006 10:52 PM

The Sneak King screenshot has to be the funniest one I've ever seen. Seriously laughing off line, here.

Slayer X Oct 2, 2006 11:06 PM

I do find this quite commical myself. At the same time however I don't think that games need to be made as interactive advertisements. People are already bitch'n about real ad's in current games like Fight Night 3. I don't really care all that much for I'll got get a combo at Wendy's before I buy one of thoes crap games, just none of you other companies get any ideas of making a trend out of this. We already have enough problems with crap games based on crap movies, we don't need your crap too.

JasonTerminator Oct 3, 2006 12:53 AM

I am certainly buying Sneak King, and possibly the others too.

Hail to the King, baby.

galen Oct 3, 2006 12:54 AM

Oh man. Part of me wants to be all upset and hostile like our boy Slayer here, but a larger part can't help but laugh every time I see The King. And that last one is priceless.

360 achievements are mandatory for every game so these games fail off the bat

galen Oct 3, 2006 01:49 AM

Don't worry, still plenty of games out there to help you prove how big your e-penis is.

Infernal Monkey Oct 3, 2006 01:50 AM

Oh shi- GAME OF THE YEAR also has the best box art ever.

God forbid you waste most of your life playing computer games and have no way to prove it to the rest of the world...

It's a real shame that its pretty much guaranteed these won't get a PAL release. Sneak King looks funny as fuck.

Grundlefield Earth Oct 3, 2006 08:03 AM

It was a joke retards. I was just saying that they would have stood a chance of more people buying their happy meals with them then without them.

God gff is losing it.

How is "Sneak King" not the first AO rated game? It should be put in the genre of survival horror.

Burp Oct 3, 2006 04:43 PM

Mc Donalds needs to release M.C. Kids on XBLA or VC...

TonyDaTigger Oct 3, 2006 07:28 PM

According to Major Nelson, there WILL be gamescore and achievements.

Mucknuggle Oct 3, 2006 08:59 PM

Sneak King is AMAZING. I can't wait to read reviews. I'm tempted to rent an Xbox just to play the game. LOLin

Solis Oct 4, 2006 11:48 AM

Wow...that's just hilarious. Granted, it's a little strange paying for what's essentially an advertisement, but they just look so lol. I think it's funny that Pocketbike Racer has online play when something like Gran Tourismo 4 doesn't.

I like how the King's facial expression never changes. Like Bobo.

This is what a HDTV was meant to be used for.

The Plane Is A Tiger Oct 4, 2006 05:44 PM

Oh god, Sneak King makes me wish I had an Xbox more than any actual Xbox game ever has. Pocketbike Racer's inclusion of the Subservient Chicken as a character is just plain awesome as well. This has to be the greatest fast food ad campaign ever.

nuttyturnip Oct 4, 2006 06:07 PM

The Xbox live support is awesome as well. Almost makes me wish I had a 360, but it'll do just was well on my regular Xbrick.

Break open some champagne, these may eventually be available in Europe.

No way dude, you just forgot the smiley face to let everyone know you were joking! A facetious statement without a  is just ASKING for trouble!

UltimaIchijouji Oct 30, 2006 07:25 AM

I'm going out to buy a 360 right now.

Solis Nov 2, 2006 10:06 PM

Trailer for Sneak King is on IGN: http://media.xbox360.ign.com/media/8...64/vids_1.html

I don't think anything more needs to be said.
