Teen Titans

Looking for a bit of Teen Titans discussion, as I don't really know anyone else who reads it.

Got #38 in the mail a little while back. This issue made me somewhat excited! As Teen Titans the only DC comic I read at the moment, and I don't have easy comic book store access, I missed the whole Crisis thing. So a lot of the 1 Year Later stuff has been kinda "whut" to me. If anyone can fill me in on some of the details I missed I would love that. I'm still depressed that Kid Flash dropped out... I love Bart Allen. Hehe.

Back to #38. Despite the whole issues they're having with being a team, I do enjoy the current members of the Titans. So I hope somehow they learn how to play nicely together. Seeing Raven was good too. And back to long hair!

I'm curious about what trouble the Teen Titans East will bring, but I'm just so worried about some storyline coming up that will jump into another title and I'll end up missing another chunk of story. Le sigh!

Eh, I'll stop rambling now and wait for some feedback. I'd just love to hear anyone's opinion at this point. Thanks!

The only thing you're missing from the Crisis is basically... the Crisis. Everything that happened in that one year time span is being covered in 52. It gives the story of everything of importance that happened in that gap.

That's not true and I don't want people thinking it is. 52 focuses on a few stories and events. The Teen Titans, so far, have only had a brief mention. We're over twenty weeks in and we still know nothing about what the Titans have been doing. However, this current arc is supposed to help explain a little about what happened during the missing year. Other gaps will be filled with time.

Read this for information on the recent Crisis.

(You may already know some of this, but I feel like saying it anyway: )
What we know about the missing year is that Cyborg was merged with Firestorm when returning from space. Eventually, the two are separated and Cyborg remains comatose in Titans Tower for the rest of the year. Wonder Girl joined a cult, trying to resurrect Conner. Robin was off training with Batman, not really seen. The Titans themselves went through several roster changes, Beast Boy eventually leaving for the Doom Patrol.

Edit: Actually, upon further investigation, I have learned that the Titans will be making an appearance in this week's 52.

Okay, didn't know about the Firestorm thing. The rest has pretty much been vaguely mentioned in the Teen Titans series.

If I get a chance to get to a comic book store, I'll keep my eyes open for 52. Ahh, life in a small town. It would probably help if I'd get not lazy and read my Wizard magazine. I'll definitely peruse the wikipedia entry. Thanks so much for the leads!
