Spaceballs The Animated Series: The Search for More Money

Only airs on g4? :(

I dunno if it will work or not. I just hope it doesn't turn out as bad as Stripperella.

Spaceballs...... my favorite comedy.

Looks like a years wait.

Holy fuck :tpg: Totally awesome. I KNEW THIS DAY WOULD COME :O

Although the article is rather short, I am already highly anticipating this show. Mel Brooks has never disappointed.

They better make the first episode titled "The Search for More Money", unless they are actually gonna make a real sequel in movie form.

The best part will be, of course, the lack of crappy 80's pop music in the show. (At least I hope so. If they sneak in that damn song, I will kill Mel Brooks myself.)

I look forward to it, but I think Sexis has a point. I think it'll probably be another Stripperella.

I thought Stripperella couldn't be that bad, being backed by Stan Lee and all...

Whatever. I'll give it a shot.

I wonder if they decided to go this route instead of the movie sequel route. There was an article going around sometime last year that was Mel Brooks had wrote a sequel to Spaceballs to counter the Episode III movie.

Guess they went the safe (and cop out heh) way by making an animated series.

Which reminds me, I need to try and get my hands on the Animated Adventures of Bob and Doug McKenzie

Interesting.... and I was just watching Spaceballs last night... Coincidence? :eyebrow:

Over a year old thread. I be bumping with footage found on Youtube from a G4TV promo:

I like how the mini-vader looks a lot like the mini-vader that Stewie played on the Star Wars spoof that Family Guy did.
