Ha, sorry about invading this subforum. This is it for awhile, I promise.

Total sixth grade question, but what superpowers or abilities would you pick out of all our available heroes? Try and be original, thouightful. Of course we`d all love to be fucking Superman. That big blue bastard.

Nah, I wouldn't want to be Superman. Give me some of those reality altering powers or magic. Then I can do anything I want. Win.

I choose Flash-like superspeed. I'd waste a genie wish on it.

I wouldn't mind the capabilities of Colossus; it'd be easy to rescue/help people if you couldn't be hurt.

Flight. Hands down, no contest. Flight is the one power I've always dreamed of having.

Ofcourse, with flight some things have to be assumed to come with it. Got to be able to fly atleast as quick as the fastest plane. Maybe twice the speed of the concorde? I could deal with that. And some sort of protective aura around you so you don't tear your skin off when you hit mach 3. Or freeze to death if you go too high. Or suffocate if you go too high. Other than that, give me flight any day.

Failing that, probably super-speed.

I'd want to be able to turn invisible so I can do all my, uh... errends un noticed :)

Invincibility or regeneration would be cool.

Or if I can stretch it like Mr. Fantastic, the ladies are gonna love me.

Flight, invulnerability, those reality altering powers and such and maybe superspeed. I have to admit that would be pretty awesome. :)

...and of course theres no telling what mischief I could get into with some X-Ray vision what with me being a guy and all. Hehehehe. ;)

If you had reality-warping powers, couldn't you give yourself those other abilities?

I think Jean Grey's telekinetic abilities would appeal to me most. Especially when realized at full potential and UNDER CONTROL. I could fuck shit up. Plus, I've had a huge thing for psychic powers for like, ever. It'd have to be telekinesis or maybe Mystique's abilities to shape-shift. I could do all sorts of fucked up things being able to change shape.

Man, when I was little I had some serious obsession with wanting to fly. Had several Peter Pan related dreams. Flight would indeed be awesome.

I'd really like to be able to fly. That would totally cure my fear of heights.

No flight for me. I just want superhuman agility and skills a la Daredevil or Nightcrawler. It's a bit like flight, in that you get to do incredible gravity-defying feats, but without the "Ho-hum, I guess I'll just zip right up this building" ease of true flight.

Pyschokinesis would be an equally cool second pick, but no mind control/reading, thanks. I just want to make things float around, like a spooky ghost!

Anyhow, I guess my superpower(s) would have to be super speed/flight or teleportation. It would cut down a lot on travelling times, and allow me more time in bed. ;)
Shape shifting would be good as well, I could have some fun with that.

The difference between the two is that psychokinesis doesn't require line-of-sight.

Flying would be absolutely awesome ability to have, it would be just so useful for getting around. Of course I'd like to have the full package and I would ask for the ability to reach mach speeds and the ability to go sub-orbital, or heck, the ability to go orbital period (and not die of course). But still, flying would just be fucking great to get away from people, tired of sitting in traffic or if you find yourself in a cockfest of a party? just take off and no one will be able to reach you (well people could try with helicopters and other aerocraft but it certainly wouldn't be as convienent).

Telekensis and other psychic powers would be awesome too, but flight just has this dreamy aspect to it that psychic powers don't IMO.

The powers of The Darkness would do for me.

I'd love the power of invincibility, then I'd be able to get shot with a rifle and rise back up on my feet again.

If not that, I'd love to have Speedball's power to surround himself in a force field where attacks bounce off.

Mind control just like Prof. X. That would be just awesome! Of course, I wouldn't mind Wolverine's recovery abilities - immortal life! Being able to create an alternate reality and actually have people live in it would be pretty cool too...
