What do VGM composers use to create their music?
 

I've always wondered this, and who knows, the answer may have been right in front of me all of these years! Just what do VGM composers use to create their awesome tunes? (reagarding your ordinary, synthesized music, no orchestra etc...I already know the answer to those)
