audio question
 

yesterday i recorded a little music tune from courage the cowardly dog from a video clip and i want to figure it out by ear but the problem is that there is too much unwanted noice like voices sound fx foot steps and son on and here is my question is there a way to mute silence or someway to hear the melody ''only'' or at least hear it louder than the other unwanted noices
if you have some talent in audio maybe can have a look at it

To mute silence? That might prove to be easier than you would expect.

I've examined the track, I tried my best at removing some of the noise, but to no avail. Know one thing though, it is impossible to remove the vocals if they're already imbued in the track. Same thing with sound effects. Unless they're nearing silence and you can capture a noise profile, you won't be able to do much, possibly worsen the quality of the entire track and lose sound. Tough luck, but that's the way it goes.
