Ok uh.. I see you are making an effort to settle in here, and that's good. Your posting needs a little work, though. So does this thread.

I realize there's still a few "what's your favorite/least favorite something something" threads around here, but most of them have been made with the requirement that the thread creator and the people posting make an effort to put content into their posts, or else the thread be closed.

A favorite game thread has proven not to work here, I'm afraid. It only encourages listing and name dropping, instead of proper discussion, something that we're supposed to aim for here.

If you intend to hang around (which I hope you do), I recommend you read up on threads like this and this to get a general idea on the standards of posting around here. Put more effort and content to it and you should be fine.

As a mini-announcement to anyone reading this, if someone really wants to start up a "favorite game" thread and can produce me an opening post with enough effort and work put into it, and vowing to make sure the replies keep up the quality (this means encouraging effort), then we might let them do it. Otherwise, this topic remains a no-no and it's really embarrassing how many "favorite" threads I seem to have let live =x
