Soymilk taste varies considerably depending on flavor and brand, so whenever people tell me they don't like it I ask what kind they tried. For my money, Silk and Pearl soymilk are the best, as long as it's unflavored and unsweetened. There's still a residual 'nutty' overtone to it, but other than that it doesn't taste that different from regular (ie: 2% fat) milk. However, the people that only like fat-free milk may find it a bit thick. Pearl (by Kikkoman) soymilk is thinner.
As for the tofutti cuties, I loooooove them! Especially the wild berry flavor... I tried the mint thinking I would love them, but discovered they use spearmint. Eck. That has to be my least favorite mint. The regular ice cream is good as well. Soy just has a very creamy texture, so it works well as ice cream.
