Cute VGM.
 

My sister asked me to find her some cute music for her. I gave her some Atelier Iris stuff and she absolutely loves it. She asked me to find more of the cute stuff like that. Do you guys know any other cute VGM? I appreciate it.:biggrin:

I seem to associate cute with (non-creepy) xylophone and bells, or cute girl voices so here are a couple of tracks to check out:

-Cecil's Garden (Napple Tale Vol. 1)
-Southern City Polpota, Mystic City Geo, Ranch Night, Pastoral, Places of Soul (Legend of Mana)
-The Sound Stone Melody (Earthbound)
-Chocobo Racing OST (The character themes in particular as opposed to the racetrack themes)

Getting a sibling into game music? :p Sounds interesting.

If she liked those bouncy tunes (if I'm remembering the right kind of music :x), I'd probably reccomend some of Hiroki Kikuta's work. He's worked on music for the Seiken Densetsu (Secret of Mana) series, as well as the soundtracks for Soukaigi, Sakura Relaxation, and Koudelka. He also released an album titled Lost Files recently, which features some quality stuff.

Thanks so much for the responses, guys. I let her listen to "The forest where the witch live", and that knocked her out right on the first roudn ^_^. I'll definitely check every single one of which I haven't heard out.

Just to add to our list, I just remembered a few pieces from Dark Chronicle and The Sim 2 which are really kawaii also.

Relating to cute VGM, does anyone have any Soichi Terada compositions other than his ape escape work? All of that series' music is seriously cute as, so cute VGM fans should definitely check some of it out!
