I want to make a screenshot of some old dos games such as commander keen but the printscreen wont do full screen dos applications. I tried to google for random programs that claimed that they would do the trick but all failed and only gave me a image of a black screen, any suggestions?

Try to play the game in DosBox.

Did you try screen thief? It can capture CGA/EGA screens.

I'm probbly gunna steal these when they are posted...
