Easy way to create an animated gif from an avi file.

I tried opening it with Imageready, but all it displays is a blank white screen. If I try to "blind import" a small section, every frame is white.

I need a more effective way of doing this other than saving each frame out of MPC.

Animation Shop could do it. Just open the AVI with the program and edit as necessary.

Eh, that one's a no-go too. Has something to do with the codec used on it. Oh well.
