Missing avatar?
 

Logged in today and found that my avatar is missing. I uploaded it to Imageshack a while ago and deleted the file from my computer. Would the hotlink from Imageshack go bad? Wouldn't my avatar just be white with a little red X box in the middle?

Weird, all I see is nothing and my name as a link to my profile in the middle. Maybe Firefox fucked up. This is what I see:

Your avatar is stored on the GFF server. Also, I can see it just fine too. =)

Although this may not be the safest place for anything to be stored, I'm going to go ahead and add another "I can see it just fine and dandy!".

I can see Maico's avatar just fine, but based on his/her screenshot, I can say that I do see some people's avatars like that. One that I can think of off the top of my head is Ultima. I have seen his avatar as just a text link of his username for a while now. Not a big deal, doesn't bother me at all, but just saying hi, Maico isn't the only one experiencing this.

I'm pretty sure that's just what shows up when said user doesn't have any avatar selected.

I've been seeing that all over this place for the last few weeks - avatars being replaced by a clickable link of that user's name (it may be that they simply haven't selected an avatar, but it never used to be so many people that didn't have one). Also the gender icons have been going missing; hell, they're missing right now. About half the time they revert to their default "question-mark" state.

Well that looks to be accurate. I guess that started whenever dude implemented the whole "click the avatar to get to the profile" feature.

Yeah, Ultima just doesn't use an avatar for some reason. I plan on mod abusing something fun into it for him every now and then though. Thanks for the reminder. =)

Had it been stolen, Heads and Tails would have to go to Court.

My reason is I just don't have a good image for an avatar. The clickable name though it something new. I miss the blank spot there.
