Unfortunatly you can only send a phonecall the same phone number once. When I first found this, I sent it to my own phone number to test it, and now whenever I try to use my phonenumber (or one of my friends tries) it says, "Sorry, but I've already messaged this phonenumber. choose another."
So choose wisely. Still, all in all it amounts to an almost untraceable prank call. Just put in someone else's number as "your own".
Also some idiot wrote this in his blog about this
Quote:
not that i was rushing out to see this movie BUT i now refuse to see Snakes on a Plane. i got a phone call while i was at work the other day and didn't answer it, so it went to voicemail. when i checked my voicemail, there was a canned message of some mean guy yelling at me to see the flick. he obviously got some info about me from surveys or online *beep* or whatever cause he mentioned the industry i work in, the fact that i listen to a lot of music and the fact that i have tattoos. then he told me to forget about work the day the movie comes out, blow off my "homeboys" and go to the theater. he said if i didn't, he would find where i live and, i guess, beat me until i bought a ticket. yeah. he threatened me. in an ad that i had to pay for out of my cell phone minutes.
i will not go see this movie alone OR with my "homeboys". i will not rent this movie. i will not order it on pay per view or netflix or take a free copy from someone on the street. i won't buy it bootlegged off the subway platform and if anyone asks me, i will lie and say i saw it and it was the worst thing i've ever seen.
*beep* you and your guerilla marketing New Line Cinema!
