Banning Policy
 

This thread will explain how our banning policy works here. Following the rules stickied around each forum should keep you safe from a ban. Breaking the rules, however, could get you banned from these forums. This is how we handle these situations.

First Warning
A moderator will either warn you in a thread or a PM with an explanation of what you did wrong and how to fix it. They will always ask for you to acknowledge the warning so they know it didn't go ignored. If you don't respond to the warning or don't take it seriously an administrator will take away your ability to post until it is done.

First Banning
If you continue to cause problems after a moderator warns you your account gets banned from accessing the forums for a week.

Second Warning
So lets say you come back and break the rules again. Well, you get a warning from a moderator again. This is the same deal as before.

Second Banning
You think the moderator is wrong and you can do whatever you please. Ok, now you're out for a whole month.

Final Warning
Now you're really pushing it. At this time the moderator will let you know that this is your final chance to improve yourself. If you love gamingforce so much you'd best stop your nonsense now.

Final Banning
Staff will usually discuss the final banning together before getting rid of you permanently. Once this 3rd ban is placed it is very seldom removed.

Regarding Dupe Accounts
Creating a second account here is strictly prohibited. If you are found using one the warning is skipped and both accounts are banned immidiately. Sometimes there are special circumstances that allow the use of a dupe account, like for a community event or game. These always require permission from staff. Creating a dupe account during your ban-time will either extend it for a larger amount of time or make it permanent, so don't do it. This is decided by staff as well.

Small Bans
If you are causing trouble in a specific area or abusing a privilege such as your custom title or signature space you might simply be banned from using them. It also isn't uncommon for an individual to get banned from just one forum for a set period of time. Sometimes a global forum ban isn't necessary.

Advertising
Creating an account here for the sole purpose of advertising is an instant permaban. If a member advertises even though they've posted around a bit already their thread will be closed and the person will be warned to keep it in the chocojournal or signature.
