Convert APE file to Mp3

Hi guys

I have an album in Ape file format. Do you know how to convert it to Mp3 and divide it into separated track?

Have a look in this thead. Unless you lack a cue sheet for the APE file you should have little problem getting this done.

foobar2000 can do this (you will need foobar2000, APE plugin, and LAME encoder)

Hi. I searched for a solution of the same problem and found this thread. Thanks for the suggestions, but I didn't managed to convert and split APE with foobar2000. However, stumbled upon two simple tutorials that allow doing this without a problem. The first is about APE to mp3 conversion and the second is about splitting by CUE. Might help you as well;)

I use the Switch sound file converter program for most of my convertions from various formats and it's superb in my opinion. It also converts ape files to mp3 or to whatever your own choice of file.
