Sadly, the story isn't quite as interesting as it may seem. For about a week in November, he was taking personalized orders of the books from the TopatoCo web store: a drawing and a message for an extra charge. Since I didn't own any of the books, I bought all three, and I gave him a bunch of silly requests just to see if he'd do them. And he did! Dude is a hero.

Book 2 has Death on a unicycle with the message "To my biggest fan: Batman," and book 3 has Ben Franklin gleefully scarfing down some pizza with the message "Do not remove from the Library of Congress."

If only Zeph had known he could have got a fucktard one.
