Chō-Han (Even-Odd)
Since the dice function has been implemented, let's see if a simple game of Chō-Han would work in the confines of this forum.
The rules are simple: Before I roll the pair of dice, you, the player, must guess if the resultant sum of the two dice is either even (Chō) or odd (Han). I then roll, and if it comes up even or odd, the ones who guessed correctly wins that roll. Normally, this game is played with some sort of collateral, but I'll just make it simpler here and just tally up the win-loss stats of the players until I get tired of this. Anyone can join in this game at any time. This is gaming at its most casual and least committed. The roll will happen at Midnight CST (GMT -6), usually whenever a quorum is reached. So be sure to make your "wagers" before each roll to be counted! Win-Loss Stats: Diss 3/3 - 1.000 Acerbandit 1/1 - 1.000 Garr 1/1 - 1.000 Rychord 1/1 - 1.000 Shin 2/3 - 0.666 Zergrinch 2/4 - 0.500 Krelen 0/1 - 0.000 Radez29 0/1 - 0.000 Roll Statistics: Total Rolls: 5 No. Chō: 3 No. Han: 2 |

I'll go with Han, because Shin is always wrong.
|
I will go with Chō! GOOD LIVING FOREVER!
|
FIRST ROLL!
RESULT: Chō Shin and Acer win this roll! I might make this more a weekly thing, now that I can see how to implement betting "money" into this with a given point set. I'll explain more in the first post. New rules for weekly betting rounds are in the first post. FIRST WEEK OF POINT WAGERING WILL START SUNDAY FEB 22! |

UP WITH CHO.

Han is where it's at.

Oh, I'll Chō you just how wrong that statement is!
|
ROLL ROLL ROLL!
RESULT: Chō Diss and Rychord win this roll! I've cut down the roll frequency to every midnight CST after having seriously overestimated the possible activity the board games forum might experience. From this point forward, anyone who enters a wager will start with 1000 points, so feel free to bet however much you want to bet for each midnight roll. |
Put me down as this for every single roll. If the script is truly random, then I should have a 50-50 batting rate :3: Testing to see if Edited on appears. |
HAN. YEAH.

|
ROLL!
RESULT: Han Everyone wins this roll! |

That's Seung-hui Cho for those of you not up to date on your university massacres. |
Sticking with Han.
|
ROLL!
RESULT: Han Zerg and Diss win this roll! |
Let's roll for him!
Looks like it's Cho. - Testing to see if edited on appears. |
You just want to diminish your stats, Zerg!

I'm gonna just retire now, undisputed Cho-Han champion of the world. :boxing:

In a futile attempt of self-preservation the sea cucumber tries to distract the tormentor in front of him. Were this an aquatic situation perhaps the squishy torpedo of blood and guts would be of use. Being not, the mess simply plops to the floor.
Agitation sets in and the sea cucumber faces his not usually disgusted enemy. http://www.thegond.com/gff/dnd/005seacucumberroar.jpg Roar of Terror proof Hobgoblin A gets crit by RoT. 16 damage and dazed good. Hobgoblin B,C,D, and Hobgoblin Warcaster are missed. They still take 5 damage and are dazed until end of next round. Soggy and Garr both get hit in the audible wave of fury. 11 damage and dazed good. |
You are doing this to intentionally torment me, Acer
|
Acer wins this round!
