If folks here can pool together money for the NE meet, they can raise enough money for a WMD. Chat can back me up, my original idea was to convert the GFF 2009 Meet into the GFF 2009 Suicide Pact, but I decided to open it up to everyone. GFF is all about community!

I am here on Kagosin's behalf. I have witnesses in chat to back me up on this if need be. He is the first volunteer for this noble venture.

You are an introverted tormented soul who will go to great lengths to ensure that you make everyone aware of your plight, by polite force or other cloak-and-dagger methods if need be. You probably spent your early days of your adolescence watching war unfold before your eyes, both at home with your parental figures constantly physically abusing and/or pettifogging with each other and through the media watching your country send its sons to fight meaningless wars so that politicians don't have to bother with those petty details while they sit and soak the idiot box trying to fuck their secretaries.

You've also had many chances at what most of us refer to as "true love". However, you have probably pushed them away at the first sign of intimacy because your obviously tortured mind cannot cope with hurting anyone else in your self-destructive downward spiral into near-madness. Even as every one of those "chances" obviously cared very deeply for you in a way that your mental cogs would never have been able to mill over... See, you lacked love as a child and therefore lack it in your adult years and onward.

This, along with countless literature on philosophy, religion, politics, film studies and war history shifted your views on the world to a much more grim place than the rose-colored candyland you grew up in and have seemingly taken to other outlets to vent your anger in writing through any medium you can find; in this case, Gamingforce Suicide Club.

Do what Hemingway did and feed your face some lead pellets at mach-3 speeds and you will not only be posthumously understood as a tormented genius far ahead of his/her time, but you will achieve TRUE immortality through the written word.

Well let's see if I'm qualified:

I have a steady girlfriend whom I love and she loves me and we have a damn good relationship going.

I have a job that I enjoy and I'm going to apply for a higher position so that's good.

The music I listen to isn't really suicide laden nor depressing though I guess Agalloch and Opeth - Damnation could fall underneath that. Otherwise the music I listen to involves crushing my opponents in a bloody manner.

So no suicide pact for me. Sorry. Out of curiosity, how is the mass suicide going to go down?

I never said I was going to kill myself; I'm only helping to coordinate the efforts of those that do. Being overwhelmed with your own self-loathing makes it difficult to network with others, you know. If it will help the cause, however, I'll sign up as well (because RockgamerXIII won't give me his gift card).

Truth be told - if you're going to be so daring, so dangerous to suggest everyone who hates themselves should commit suicide, how about making an example? We learn by doing, after all and a good general knows that charging ahead of his men inspires the best out of them. To do otherwise is to show how utterly limited and infantile your basic idea is. So people aren't willing to off themselves. Not suprising. But that's only their physical selves.

How about a pact of Gamingforce suicides. It's a metaphorical suicide, like when we say "He committed political suicide". Well we can commit Gamingforce suicide.

Basically, it's for anyone worried about Gamingforce taking up too much of their time, or anyone just plain bored of the site, and wanting to do something a little more interesting than to simply stop showing up one day.

Committing message board suicide can be done in a variety of ways. You can go out in a big hurrah by delibrately flouting some big no-no's. Roll up in a dupe account, and call the admins cunts or something. Spam the forums with hardcore porn. Etc.

But that's amateur stuff really.

The really interesting way to go out would be a gradual over-time process. Slowly begin stirring up shit, derailing threads, being provocative for the hell of it. Gradually begin reducing the quality of your posts until you bottom out at a kind of gamefaqs mentality. You'd be slowly killing your own online personality, and all the good-will, if any, that you've built up, and shit, wouldn't it be fun? The real world analogy would be the alcoholics. Here, you wouldn't be drinking yourself to death - you'd be trolling yourself to death.

Fed up with forum life? Pledge yourself a member of the first (presumably) suicide cult for online personas. Although you might want to do that in a pm to me instead of publicly.

Have we had someone go out on a slow burn like that before? We've had members go the opposite direction (start out terrible, and become great), and we've had some go nuts (Eleo). Maybe Yama?

Anyway, if you're going to go out, do it in a blaze of glory, not with a whimper.
