That looks like it could be from Chii's Sweet Home. I only read a bit of the manga though so I'm not too sure.

Oh I remember that. Kyouran Kazoku Nikki, the part where she insulted the building for being too grand. The sweatdrop's a dead giveaway.
I wanted to like that one, but ughhhhhhhh it just, felt like it was trying to channel Excel Sagas random in all the wrong ways. I think I only made it a few episodes in before I gave up. I'll post a screen in a short bit. |

This would be from Gintama. In the first screen Kagura is on the beach and it's the start of the turtle-thingy arc. I don't recognice the scene in second pic, but it looks like Hijikata on the left.

Well, that is correct, but as I recall, Da Capo was a Romance/Comedy show with some supernatural elements thrown in, Robot Miharu shown above being a good example.
I haven't watched Keitai Shoujo, but a quick google search pointed me to ANN, and that also seems to be a Romance/Comedy show. I'm not sure what you mean by it being the wrong genre. |

It is a very good anime. Too bad the middle part was kinda ehhhhh since I couldn't get myself to care after what happened to Daichi (I think it was). The end was decent though.

It's a short film (about 20 minutes long) and the art/animation sticks to that style for the entire duration. If you're a fan of surreal stuff, this film is definitely worth checking out because the art conveys a sense of madness rather well.

Nope. It's part of an OVA series, each episode follows one character. These particular shots are from the 4th episode. The manga was a one-shot tankobon released in 2001. The series wasn't picked up by a publisher until 2005, where it finally got released as a continuing manga series.

It's not a credits screen. In the second half of episode 10 of Bakemonogatari, it's pretty obvious that Shaft's typical practice of coming incredibly close to deadline bit them in the ass, and as a result it was almost completely inanimate.
It consisted of a lot of re-used still frames and many appearances of the above image, where the scene was "cut due to circumstances." |
