You sir have my eternal respect <3

Apart from those two as well, Spaced, Black Books, Red Dwarf (early stuff), Brass Eye, The Day Today, I'm Alan Partridge/Knowing Me Knowing You, The Armando Iannucci Show, Time Trumpet, Peep Show, Father Ted, The IT Crowd, Garth Marenghi's Dark Place, Man to Man with Dean Learner, Nathan Barley, Jam, Monkey Dust, Look Around You, The Young Ones, Blackadder, obvs Pythons, no I will not narrow this down.

You forgot The 11 O'Clock Show, the programme that launched both Sasha Baron Cohen and Ricky Gervais and seemingly finished off Ian Lee.

Also anything Charlie Brooker has done with "Wipe" in the title.

And Bottom, not sure how you forgot that.

Seriously love, what are you playing at?

Bernard Black Feb 15, 2013 08:14 AM

I didn't think the Screen/News/Games/Yearwipes fit the format! But yes those can go straight in there <3 Bottom I've only seen bits and bobs of and The 11 O'Clock Show not at all, I am a disgrace :(

Fluffykitten McGrundlepuss Feb 15, 2013 08:56 AM

You've not watched Bottom or the 11 O'Clock Show?!? Blimey, you really have been wasting your life. :)

I also like The Fast Show and Big Train if we're going with skit shows

Not sure if The Trip counts as a miniseries.

Have you seen any of the Armstrong and Miller Show? If you like Big Train and Mitchell and Webb you'd probably like it.

Additional Spam:
I'm also a big fan of Lee Nelson's Well Good Show.

Shin, will definitely follow those up :D

Also, Mitchell and Webb and Big Train! Goddammit!

An Idiot Abroad is another golden BBC comedy (and sort of documentary about random places at the same time!).

Other than that: Spaced, Black Books, IT Crowd, Extras, Hyperdrive, yeaaah the list will go on.

Community, Parks and Rec, The Office, 30 Rock

But if I had to say my favorite, I have no idea. Comes and goes.

Still, "Father Ted" for me. The sheer craziness that happens in every episode is just brilliant. Probably the most quoted series in our house for sure.
