Permanently Retire Names
 

I declare that an admin create and permanently retire the names of our deceased members to keep their names from being used by somebody else for wrong purposes. Let's let these names rest in the piece of good memories.

I can't see there being two Phoenix6901's, those numbers are unique man!

I consider it more of a respect and honoring them really.

Furnish proofs of death first. You can never be too careful to believe stuff when talking over The Internet.

If they're going through the trouble of pretending to be dead, they don't deserve to come back then, either.

There was another guy who died, I think he was called Xantay or something. His family made a post on the boards, and there was some suspicions wether or not it was a joke, but xantay never showed up again, nor was his account used after that, so I think that it's save to assume that the message was real.

Why should we?

Maybe for respect, I can see that.

But for preventing some type of abuse? Come on. We already know they're dead. I know for, at least, akirage's funeral, people attended his funeral, and I'm sure the same is for Phoenix. If someone registers under their name, we can be quite certain it's not them.
