Tande's Art

Ok, last thread i'm too lazy to edit, and its older than sin, so here's my attempt at a new one. Here's a few samples, rest will be in links, since I don't want to be filling up the entire page of "HERE LOOK AT THIS LAWL."

all of these are rough sketches, because lately i haven't taken my art very seriously. Its all just sketches since i am planning on an comic project that will hopefully be halfway decent and the storyline won't be full of holes like swiss cheese. So, try not to be too harsh about things. I'm up for ideas on outfits and stuff, and names too (i'm horrible at naming people), and even characters (i need pretty much a whole class, and a few others)

Nathan, main character.

Crusader From RO in pajamas...desu o-o
main characters best friend, Sei
anti-hero of the comic, a thief (poor scan quality i know :\)
unfinished sketch i did for someone on RO
my chibi style is so anorexic o_o

more when i get off my ass and actually scan them.

Heh, doing the ground work is alright, but sometimes its better if you just have to start drawing the comic instead of thinking hard about it.

UltimaIchijouji Jun 18, 2007 04:18 PM

They're all anorexic. Feed them a little, they're people too. Not really but you know.

I agree with Ultima. People are nice to look at and easier to draw (at least for me) when they have more flesh on their bones. Your faces are nice and simple, although a little big compared to the bodies...I like your thief sketch a lot, though.

Double posting. Yes.

Rav, a kitsune character of mine on a roleplaying server. I guess that makes me a furry then, huh...only animal character I really have. Yeah, his hand is kinda fucked up...

Sin, another character of mine. He has a chelsea smile and an obsession for piercings...and this was sorta my practice on male torsos. Over simplifying things sometimes comes out okay. Sometimes.

Typical animu pose...yeah. Sin again.

A knight. Mostly practice with hands. Mostly.

I like the last one the best. It feel the most finished.

I think the eyes are a bit too far apart in the third image.

Yes. Way to go.

I never updated this, I figured I'd do it anyways with what I've doodled. I'm in no way a professional, just a doodler. As you can see I'm terrible at thinking of ways to describe these things without looking like a complete nerd and/or tool.

You know what is nice about this old thread, seeing the maturity of style manifest in the years through tehcnique and so on. Its really neat to look at. Keep on at it!
