OK, I was thinking, anime and manga ain't cheap, so I though we should have a page for those who are looking to buy and need some help looking! And please make suggestions on sites, have a thorough description of the site, weather it has HK(R0) or Perfect(R1) or what ever kind of DVDs. And make sure to give out where you got some of the stuff in your stash if it isn't listed!

You're in one hell of a role, arent you ? ;p But this seems like a good idea. Im tired of getting stuff from ebay. Its the only place where im able to get stuff u.u.

Amazon.com and .ca ALWAYS give a 30% discount on pre-orders. I get all of my R1 anime from there. They also have amazing specials from time to time. E.g. Now and Then, Here and There box set - I paid $25 CDN.

Ah i see. but the one up there says Deep Discount and its different from the one i posted. Its all animes not stuff in general.

Media Cavern's Super Anime Sale!! |
I didn't see it here (but my eyes are bad...), but alphacraze.com is a INSANE cheap way to get manga. I think they sell anime too, but I'm not sure.
They sell new manga that's like $4-6 dollars cheaper than what you would get from the bookstore or another online company. The best deal with them though, is that their shipping is fuckin' ridiculous. I just bought like $75 dollars worth of manga (13 books) through them, and my shipping? $3.49 Yeah. It's insane. Although, now that they have their website up, the price went up a whole lot! Still, it beats the competition any day~ The actual process of getting the books is a little tricky. You have to get the ISBN number of the item you want, put it in shopping.yahoo.com, and then click the button that'll say "order from alphacraze.com." Kinda tedious, but totally worth the hassle, if you ask me. |
for those of you that are CCS lovers, here is somthing that might be hard to pass up

I got quite a few for ya:
Got these info from hongfire.com HK Merchandise http://www.snowsakura.com.hk/ - A store specializing in mostly anime/game/manga figures. This shop is based in Hong Kong, I'm not sure if they Bootlegged or not, but my friends who happens to be a legit fanatic(one who makes sure they're legit/official figures) bought a few from them and said theyre not half-bad, fast shipping. Accepts Paypal only. Merchandise www.hlj.com - Based in Japan. Carries a lot of stuff, models, R/Cs, gundams, dolls, pre-painted figures, resin figures, books/magazines, etc. Their price tends to be a bit higher than Hobby Search (see below) and shipping is slightly higher too. Their web site design is great, their English is very good. So even though they are based in Japan communication is not a problem. Also they offer SAL Surface Air Lift shipping as well as EMS shipping. SAL is much cheaper than EMS but packages sometimes may or may not get the best treatment depend on the postal services. And also SAL take longer to arrive at the destination. EMS on the other hand is more expensive but does offer insurance and tracking. Packages generally gets better treatment. HobbyLink Japan carries reasonable stocks and hot item restock has indicators of when to expect a restock. For pre-order, HobbyLink Japan will not charge your credit card until the item is ready to be shipped out. And due to the time lage of credit card processing, you might not see it until even your next credit card statement. HobbyLink also takes PayPal if you don't have a credit card or do not want to give out your credit card information. www.1999.co.jp/eng - Based in Japan. They carries models, gundams, figures dolls, and books/magazines. They are generally a bit cheaper on price as well as shipping than HobbyLink Japan. They have a point system which gives you a equivalent of 5% discount on the next purchase (or you can save the points for later purchases). Their English is not that great, but I've learned to understand them okay. They only offer EMS shipping now. So for those wants to use SAL to save shipping they are obviously no longer an option. They don't have that much stocks, so many of the popular items will just get sold out. They do restock some items but then you have to watch out for it. They are perfect if you pre-order and want to use EMS as shipping method. For pre-order, Hobby Search will not charge your credit card until the item is ready to be shipped out. And due to the time lage of credit card processing, you might not see it until even your next credit card statement. HK Merchandise www.e2046.com Based in Hong Kong. A good source for recast resin kits as well as tools/supplies for building models. Their web site does offer a lot of pictures of their products including pieces from the recast resin kits. Judging from those photos of the resin pieces, they are pretty good but since I never purchased resin kits from them I can't tell for sure. Of course being recast kits you can expect the usual excessive flashing on the parts as well as some fitting issues. They offer some pre-painted models. Their new Gathering series is a collection of high quality pre-painted resin figures. The build and paint on the gathering series of pre-painted model is worth every penny. They offer the regular Hong Kong Post and EMS as the shipping options and shipping cost is very reasonable consider they have to ship out of Hong Kong. They have a forum so you can check out what others are saying about them. www.Hobbyfan.com - Based in USA. Even though HobbyFan carries a bit more stuff now, they are still just mainly good for resin models as well as tools/supplies for model building. They do offer pre-painted resin models and now have a painting service that can paint/assemble just about any model for you (through a 3rd party model builder). They now also offer some PVC and gashaphon figure. Their resin figures are of course recasts, but for the times I purchased from them, their recasts are done quiet well, not a lot of excessive flashing. Of course being a recast, you can expect some flashing, and some minor fitting problem. The resin material used in the casting is good quality white resin. So compare to original kits (which typically would cost you quiet a few times more) the money you saved vs the extra work you have to put is is reasonably justified. Besides, it's quiet hard to get original garage kits. There's only that many options plus Yahoo Japan auction. These are mostly figure based site, but if you really want those figures, these sites a must look. |

Of special note: There's quite a deal going on over at YesAsia currently for those who like the anime, Gunbuster. The OOP 3CD complete OST is currently available somehow. They must have found extra copies or it was just repressed, though I found it nowhere else. Either way, it was a great find in my view since I had just ordered the single volume 2 CD available at CDJapan and still had time to cancel said order. ;) Anyway, here's the link for those who might be interested in a copy... http://us.yesasia.com/en/PrdDept.asp...id-1003258802/ |
I should also add that DeepDiscount is having their annual sale where you can get 20% off your order. The sale lasts for two weeks until June 17 (I think). The prices of a few boxed sets over there are low to begin with and getting that 20% discount makes it even better.
Use the code: DVDTALK to activate the discount. Time for me to nab Infinite Ryvius, PlanetES, and Tylor, with the last one just to make Acer happy. |
Nice discount. I think I'll go and nab the rest of the Guu dvds that I'm missing. And you'll be making yourself happy with Tylor. So god damn good.
Additional Spam: http://www.axelmusic.com/index.php has some good sales as well - check 'em out |
Hey all, just giving out a heads-up to those who want to save mucho greenbacks; go to rightstuf.com before the 28th of this month and you can get either 10 CDs, DVDs or UMDs of Geneon titles for $50. Or better yet, 25 of the same for $100...
It's part of their "Geneon Bountiful Bargains REMIX - 10 for $50 OR 25 for $100" deal. Below is a link to the titles to choose from and here's a quote from the site as well. Quote:

Do you have any recommendations out of that list?
I'm getting the rest of Heat Guy J because I started on that series a while back but the rest of the DVDs have been out of stores for the longest time. Also, I'm finishing up my Lain and Paranoia Agent collections. There's just too much to choose from otherwise. I'm thinking the best value would be 4-DVD series (so, 20 bucks). Once you get up to 7/8-DVD series, that becomes about 35/40 dollars, which is still a deal, but more along the lines of how much anime is at Best Buy. EDIT: Okay, this is what I've got (25 selected): Akira DVD (Hyb) Deluxe Edition Armitage III: Polymatrix/Dual Matrix DVD Set Bottle Fairy DVD 1 (Hyb): Spring & Summer Bottle Fairy DVD 2 (Hyb): Autumn & Winter Fafner DVD 1 (Hyb): Arcadian Project + Artbox (Limited) " 2 " 3 " 4 " 5 " 6 " 7 Haibane Renmei DVD 1 (Hyb): New Feather " 2 " 3 " 4 Heat Guy J DVD 1 (Hyb): Super Android w/Artbox (LIMITED EDITION) (for the box) " 4 " 5 " 6 " 7 Lain, Serial Experiments DVD 3 (Hyb): Deus - Geneon Signature Series Lain, Serial Experiments DVD 4 (Hyb): Reset - Geneon Signature Series Paranoia Agent DVD 2 (Hyb): True Believers " 3 " 4 This is a great deal! |
The only bad thing about it (aside from RightStuf's stock being critically low for certain items) is that not all Geneon products are eligible for the deal (WHY NO KAMICHU).
But otherwise, yeah. I told some people the other day and they promptly dropped about $500 on it. Riches! |
Yeah, I hear ya. Went for Last Exile but they ran out of volume 1 with the box and volume 5. Decided to go get those two at axelmusic again since that place is pretty cool about having boxes and limited edition stuff. I also got all of Heat Guy J, Mao-chan, Sol Bianca, Gregory Horror Show, Moldiver, Patlabor Movie 3: WXIII, and Akira Deluxe Edition. That's some mega dvdage! 700 bucks of merchandise for 100 dollars. Even my raped wallet thinks that was pretty swell. So I decided to go order a 1 TB Hitachi harddrive for 400 bucks and then it was like well that's a great deal but ouch mah butt!
|
Well, I tell ya one thing, they're taking a bit of time to charge me / ship. I haven't gotten anything past the order confirmation e-mail.
Here's hoping everything's going smoothly. |
The item I was really hoping for was the ROD TV volume 7 + box + figurine, and amazingly enough they actually restocked. I bought that up in a frenzy (along with the rest of the series) and Starship Operators, so I'm pretty satisfied.
Quote:
RightStuf is a reputable company, anyway, so I'm not worried about not receiving the products. Besides, it was an absolute steal no matter what you got. I'd be okay with waiting a few weeks. |
I need to finish up some series that arent complete when I totally stopped buying anime DVDs two years ago. Thanks for the info

Just about half are "reserved for your order," the other half are "on order from manufacturer." Weird, considering they had so many in stock (when I first ordered back on June 6th). They must have had a lot more people buying even in the first few days to liquidate so much stock. Unless of course, they had that many "in stock," just not sitting in their regular warehouse. Who knows. |
Yeah, it's weird. Considering that they display the amount of stock they had (there were around 280 or so of the DVDs I wanted) I figured it'd be no big deal, but I guess when they're moving about so much stock it gets to be bothersome.
Here's hoping everything gets shipped out just fine. I always get anxious to receive stuff when I buy online. :( EDIT: Owned by RightStuf. The status on ROD TV vol7 box + figurine has been changed to "reserved for your order," which changed my entire order to "All backordered." :( |

I helped myself to the lot of the Lupin discs (12 DVD's but in reality, it's the only thing in the pile I'll watch), but I also finished off my Mini Goddess (3 DVD's), Star Ocean EX (2) and Tokyo Underground (4) sets and dug into Starship Operators (3) and picked up Moldiver after all these years of putting it off. I got mine in pretty early (most discs were around the 600+ mark), so here's hoping. I "Saved" like $630...Which goes to show how overpriced a lot of this stuff is.
|
Im sorta new to the right stuff site. I chose a shitload of dvds ( in the geneon remix list of course) and it doesn't say 50 bucks O.o. Anyone know why?
|
When you're paying it'll ask you for a coupon code. You need to put in REMIX10 or REMIX25 depending on what you're getting.
|
Alright good sir. Well then here's the list I've picked out. I wish they weren't out of the 3rd vol of Tsukihime but what can you do. I chose to get 25 dvds. a buck and 2 zeros isn't that much these days..

I always wanted to finish off the first season of Mahoro and now i can check out the 2nd season. Something tells me that I'm going to regret choosing Chobits over Trigun. |
So, I take it I am the only one who went for CDs over DVDs, eh? Being a less amount of savings over what the DVDs would offer notwithstanding ;)
Oh well, here's what I picked up: Spoiler:
I should be getting it any day now. Though, it'll most likely take me all Summer to go through it all. Not that I am complaining... :D Anyway, here's hoping another deal like this happens before the year is over. I definitely wouldn't mind picking up DVDs next time around regardless. |
I didn't get any CDs because I've heard some negative things about US-released CDs. Something like how the quality is inferior to the original Japanese discs, or something? If you could confirm/deny that when you get your shipment, that'd be pretty interesting.
Also, US releases seem to lack the same extras as the Japanese ones (though they do cost a lot less). I am a sucker for the obi and first press goodies. |
Those are nothing but old wives' tales.
The quality of of a Japanese CD // DVD is no different than the American counterpart. The only reason it would be different would be if they used a different source or tried to compress more. Some American releases are better than Japanese releases because they rip out extras, and some are worse because although they take out extras they try to cram more stuff into the media. For CDs though those are pretty much untouched. They just lack first press bonus stuff, and sometimes the booklet inserts might have less detail. If you're obsessive over that sort of thing then yeah the import would be better. Although I guess if they used a different media, like maybe a gold cd instead of a silver cd, then quality could suffer. But that's unlikely and you wouldn't notice it for quite some time. I've been unfortunate enough to possess both Japanese and American releases of some things, so I've done my fair share of testing. |
I've ordered from Rightstuf over half a dozen times, and they do take their time, but for sure, they do fulfil their promises. Furthermore, during the original Geneon sale in Sept 2006, I did order the 25 deal and one of the DVDs was flawed quite a bit, it was Fushigi Yugi disc 3, which I didn't get around to watching until January this year. I emailed them asking if I could get an exchange, since it skipped all over like hell, despite the return period only being 21 days. I believe it was a fellow named Brandon that agreed to exchange it, since it was from a large order and all.
As for the most current one, I would have done the $100 deal, but I already ordered the Platinum NG Evangelion set (bricks with artbox, not thinpak) for about $60 USD ontop of other things - Kaleido Star Complete Thin Pak and something else I forgot, so I've already dropped $160 USD, so this time I only did the $50 deal. Ordered: Chobits DVD 1 to 7 and Starship Operators DVD 1 to 3, for a total of ten items. I've received numerous e-mails about how both these orders are still on backorder, but then I'm not too worried, their backlog must be up the wazoo amongst thousands of orders. And Saka, I’ve ordered the Haibane Renmei OST from them during the last sale, and the quality seems on par to the OST that I torrented way back from the Japanese OST, I believe, but normally I wouldn’t buy OSTs anyways. It’s just unneeded extra costs ontop of buying retail anime. I ordered it mainly to fill the 1 item gap to reach 25 and I loved the music :3. In short, RS is probably the best course of action for Canadians to get their anime fix especially during the period where our CDN dollar is almost at par with the Greenback, as anime from brick and mortar shops here charge up the ass, usually $29.99 to $39.99 PER DVD. I don’t know how it’s like in the US, as I really haven’t shopped for anime there in their stores. The only added costs are the customs fees that usually are about $20.00 payable at the post office should your order be around the $100 - $150 USD range, at least from what I’ve experienced from my previous orders. |
Quote:
It might have something to do with my bank, but Rightstuf orders always take a few days to show up, though other orders elsewhere can show up within minutes of placing an order or at least by the time it ships. Not too bad however, since CDJapan orders can take 2-4 weeks for the charge to appear! ;) Quote:
Except for the Onimusha domestic CD, Sounds of Onimusha, I have never noticed anything very much different as related to the mastering/sound. In that case, it might have been a pressing error since no one, in reviews, or those that I have talked with about it noticed the same digital errors that are sure not on the Japanese release. It happened with both copies I received, so who knows. Regardless though, it made me go out and pay $40 for the original. That said, most if not all are lacking in the packaging department, though I can't say I care since I can't read Japanese and those obi's are rather pointless once you get it home if you ask me. Overall I am only interested in whether the music sounds good, but do like the obi's better than the US CDs using those crappy sticker/seals they add these days. :D BTW, one thing I have noticed, Japanese CDs are usually mastered better than their American counterpart, but mostly the mainstream stuff. The Anime music getting released here is just pressed to CD locally, using the original master the best I can tell. So, there typically isn't any additional mastering done to them unless it's not a complete copy of the original, much the same way that Onimusha CD was. I don't know, I kind of like it that way, drama and all. ;) |
I just got an e-mail from them saying they shipped it. Woohoo!. Did anyone get theirs yet?

13 days after I placed my order, all of them are still on order or reserved. :(
[/more whine] |
I received an email confirmation that my $50 order was shipped today, which happened to be ordered after my initial regular order - which is still all on backorder (not the Geneon Special). Shipping to Canada took about 2-3 weeks if I recall correctly from the first time I did this, thanks to customs and border security. Continental US shipping should be much faster, I imagine.

UPDATE! New RIGHTSTUF SALE! Now its a Viz sale this time, not quite as good as the Geneon Sale, but now is the time to grab some manga! 33% off all manga titles from Viz, and 40% off their DVDs. Good through the 15th. have fun :)
Im probably guna grab the missing 4 volumes of Silent Mobius, and get FMA 13-15(preorder) |
I always wanted to grab the Jinchuu Arc from Rurouni Kenshin. Does anyone have an idea is to where it starts (what volume)?
|
Anime-wise, it is sort-of-but-not-really covered in the second OVA, Samurai X Reflections.
Manga-wise, you should start at volume 18. Also, my RightStuf order is still not shipped yet. ;_; |

I sent another e-mail to customer service (I'm rather too phone shy to call) so I hope it all works out. I know the sale was pretty big and that they must have gotten a ton of orders so I can't bring myself to be very angry... but still, a month of waiting (for items that are consistently displayed as being well in stock on the site) is pretty unhappy.
|

Reflections was an ok OVA. I only wish it stuck with the manga since: Spoiler:
As for vol 18-28 including Death Note 12, It looks like it'll cost me about 65 bucks >.<. I'm not that desperate but it's whatever. |
Yeah, I'm in the same ship as Saka. I've been waiting for Rightstuf for a month. I'll have to call them soon because this is getting a bit ridiculous. It's a big sale but a month? I'd expect 2 weeks at max.

On the website they itemize everything for you on the 'where's my stuff!?' if you also click 'view order' once your there. This happened to me when they had a BanDai and ADV sales a while back. I went and purchased the platinum versions of Neon Genesis Evangelion DVDs 1,2,3,4,6 and 7 today at rightstuf. Each were 8 bucks a piece but they don't have vol 5 anymore for some reason. Looks like I'll have to cough up 20-something bucks for it <sigh>. And if I get this package before sakabadger, that's just fucked up >.<;; .
|
Well, rightstuf is sending me the items that are already available (7 of them (that number has not moved in over a week)) and the person I talked to said they'd ship on Wednesday.
So, yeah, if you get your stuff before me heads will roll. Probably mine, from emo suicide ;_; EDIT: Quote:

Finally got mine in. Only took Rightstuf like 2 months but they're here. Now for my other order for them to arrive. See you this time next year for updates! Sheesh.
|
My last order (4th shipment, 3 of which were single DVDs...) is on its way. I suppose it'll get here Monday... By then it will have almost been exactly 2 months since I placed the order, but at least I got it all in the end.
Can't really blame Rightstuf for the huge delays since I know they tried their best, but hopefully next time they'll have clearer communication with the manufacturer so nobody gets shafted. I'd hate to be one of those people who found out they couldn't actually get the item they wanted. |
Rightstuff is having a big time sale each day with a different sale on animes doing it 12 days style.
Day 1 - Eureka Seven 1-10 $89.99 63% off Reg. Price : 249.99 Day 2 - Inu Yasha DVD Boxset $39.39 53% off Reg. Price : $89.98 I need that Cowboy Bebop remix. Unfortunately, my original dvds don't work anymore O_o;;. I'll be updating for the next 10 days ^^.Eureka Seven is in my list because someone here recommended it highly to me. I could've seen this in adult swim... >.<. Maybe.. good luck to everyone else and pray that it doesn't come no more than 5 months.. |
Oh yeah, just wanted to note that I did eventually get my huge stash of anime but months late. I only just got the last two dvds two weeks ago. gg, rightstuf. Oh well I guess that's what I get for going for a clearance buy.

I have been looking for some figures for my room, actually only 2: - KOSMOS (Xenosaga I or III), however I haven't been able to find one in this stores (I have seen screens of gourgeous figures, so I know it exists) - Another one that just looks cool. - Originally I wanted one from Dizzy (Guilty Gear Series), but I gave up in finding one decent enough. Heh... I know this is a buyer's guide... but maybe you have seen something like that in your buying aventures! |
I don't buy figurines. But whatever floats ya boat right? ^^;
Day 1 - Eureka Seven 1-10 $89.99 63% off Reg. Price : 249.99 Day 2 - Inu Yasha Movie DVD Boxset $39.39 53% off Reg. Price : $89.98 Day 3 - Chobits Mini DVD Boxset $48.99 59% off Reg. 1/8 Xenosaga III KOS-MOS Ver 4 There are other retailers that specialize in imported goods (and yes, you usually will have to import figurines), but HLJ is a decent place to start any search. |

Day 9 - Irresponsible Captain Tylor OVA Ultimate Edition $24.99 I never saw the series or the OVA. If it was the TV edition then yeah I'd get it. It took more than 2 hours for Rightstuff to post that sale. They must be fucking retarded. Watching a sequel while not noticing that there was a tv series before it. Although I did watch RM:traumend before the first season >.>; |
Day 10 - December 12th: Burst Angel DVD Box Set (Hyb): $39.99
Yeah, I guess RS is just trying to get rid of some undesirable stock. |
$24.99 for Tylor OVA Ultimate Edition? I hope some of you slackers took up that most excellent deal.
|
Day 11 - December 13th: Boys Over Flowers DVD Bargain Bundle (1-12) (Hyb): $89.99
Day 12 - December 14th: Scrapped Princess DVD Complete Collection (Hyb) (Anime Legends): $23.99 Too bad the Scrapped Princess set is the Anime Legends one (not the usual DVDs + box), or that'd be amazing. Oh well. |
I guess out of the whole list, I'll be grabbing the BigO season 1,2, and Kiminozo. I never heard of Scrapped Princess only because too many idiots compared it to FMA.
|
I liked Scrapped Princess (but not enough to buy it, even at that price). It's a pretty decent sci-fi ish/medieval fantasy series.
A Bundle of Anime Joy * Afro Samurai DVD (D) Uncut: $17.99 * Baki the Grappler DVD Box Set 1 (Hyb) (1-6): $22.99 * Cutie (Cutey) Honey: The Movie DVD (Hyb) LiveAction Limited Edition w/Lunchbox: $23.99 * DNA Squared DVD Bargain Bundle (1-5) (Hyb): $19.99 * Flame of Recca DVD Bargain Bundle (1-10) (Hyb): $74.99 * GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka DVD Box Set 1 (DVD 1-5) (Hyb): $19.99 * Legend of Himiko DVD Bargain Bundle (1-3) (Hyb): $12.99 * Mar DVD Bargain Bundle (1-3) (Hyb): $23.99 * Mecha Masters: Explosive Anime Classics DVD Set (Hyb): $12.99 * Nuku Nuku Dash DVD Collection (Hyb) (Thinpak): $17.99 * Nuku Nuku TV DVD Collection (Hyb) (Thinpak): $17.99 * Ping Pong Club DVD Bargain Bundle (1-7) (Hyb): $19.99 * Sister Princess DVD Box Set (Thinpak): $19.99 * Street Fighter II TV Series DVD Box Set 1-4 (Hyb): $17.99 * Wandaba Style DVD Complete Collection (Hyb) (Thinpak): $19.99 * World of Narue DVD Box Set (Hyb)/Book 1 Brick Pack: $16.99 I think this concludes their sale. |
It would've been much better if they included the 2nd boxset of GTO >.<! Anything you'd recommend ?
|
GTO is really the only title that caught my eye in that last batch. $20 for an introduction to a great series is probably a very cheap price to pay.
I haven't seen many of those series, though, so it's hard for me to really comment on them. Too bad RS wasn't feeling very jolly with dropping deals on big name titles from the big companies. :( |
Heh..Due to the semester bill, I have about 80 bucks left til the next time I get paid. GTO's the way to go I guess. Besides, I'm tired of having the customed (yet medicore quality)version. Any difference in the funimation version? Did theyget more actors other than David Lucas doing 15 characters at a time ? ;p
Kiminozo - Forget it =/ . Too dramatic but it's an anime I saw just once which was more than enough. The OVA should be out soon anyway ;p. BigO - samething =/ . It's one of those animes that don't make you want to see it again after the second time. The music is the best part. As for the other animes, Flame of Recca wasn't so bad but it looked more like a cut copy and paste storyline of Yu Yu Hakusho mix with nudity and more blood. |
If you feel like a little experimenting, then I'd also recommend Scrapped Princess since you said you never heard of it (due to FMA idiots). A 24 episode series for that price isn't shabby at all.
But if it's down to a choice between that and GTO, I'd go with GTO since I find that series to be much more meaningful. |

As for The Irresponsible Captain Tylor OVA, I'll get that plus the TV series (*sighs* 89.99.....). This shit better be good cause other than Ace, other people in my class have major hard-ons for this show. Time to see what's all the commotion with this story. Finding a good mech-animes are hard to come by ( and dont tell me ttgl u.u; ). EDIT : Tylor TV series bought at a price of 70.92 at some other online store. Same with Tylor OVA at TRS. Yeah. That's enough anime til the next 4-5 months.. |
Those damn TRS people added another bundle of dvd's after the ones you posted :
Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya DVD 1 Special Limited Edition only $31.99 (50% OFF) Fullmetal Alchemist DVD Box Set 1 (1-4) only $24.99 (50% OFF) Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles Special Edition DVD only $19.99 (50% OFF) Petite Princess Yucie DVD Box Set (Thinpak) only $22.99 (61% OFF) To Heart DVD Bundle (1-4)only $39.99 (49% OFF) Twelve Kingdoms DVD Economy Set 1 only $24.98 (49% OFF) Twelve Kingdoms DVD Economy Set 2 only $24.98 (49% OFF) I still have 40 bucks left and another check i got outta the semester (Which is going straight to the next semester =/ ). Recommendations please? Other than Twelve Kingdoms, haruhi and FMA that is. Petite looks kinda cute from lookin at that boxset. Is it a fantasy genre with fighting, etc? Or is it not what I believe it to be? |

Right Stuff is having a Geneon blow out, ALL of their DVDs and CDs are 5/10/15$ meaning you can get the whole set of stuff like Last Exile, Trigun, Melody of Oblivion, Stellvia, Read or Die, Saiyuki reloaded, Samurai Champloo, Star Ocean...all for like $40 or less(I think Champloo was $10/dvd, putting it at 70). Most everything is pretty low on stock so if you want it better pounce now, or it might not be there tomorrow! I myself went ahead and got all of Last Exile and the remaining 3 DVDs missing from my Ergo Proxy collection. |
I'm pretty pissed off that I didn't get to purchase Tenjou Tenge dvd 2,5,7 and 8 yet they continue to put them up their list over. I wonder when they'll answer my question.. otherwise I'm just gonna cancel my order for 1,3,4 and 6 >.<.
Other than that, I manage to get the the one anime series I held back in a while. Gankutsou >=p. edit : woo hoo, got 5 7 and 8 today. 2's still sold out.. No prob.. I'll amazon it if anything XD. |

Pani Poni Dash - 6 DVDS pEACH gIRL 6 DVDS Pumpkin scissors 5 dvds Trigun Remix 6 dvds Welcome to the NHK 6 DVds Black Cat dvd 6 cowboy bebop remix 6 dvds Count of Monte Cristo 6 dvds Mahoromatic summer special heatguy j 7 artbox NHK , Trigun and CB are in my top list. so if I decide it that way then I'll end up getting HGJ7..again..cause the other 4 dvds are naked with the box =_=... |
AW SHIT DAWG.
This is actually pretty neat. Could use it as an opportunity to pick up the second half of Kodocha (I only have up to DVD 6) and Full Metal Panic TSR! which I've been meaning to buy at some point. |
Quote:
|
TECHNICALITIES MOTHERFUCKER, second half implies second half of the first season.
|
I know. I'm mostly just going ;____; because America sucks at Kodocha watching, even though the 'subbers went nuts over the show before it was licensed.
|
Yeah, believe you me I'd love to have the second season get a proper treatment.
|
Can't I get a 5-for-$25 deal?
All I want is 2 - 6 of Pani Poni Dash ;_; |
