NEW Gamingforce Arcade! - Hot New Games - New System
 

Due to the limited amount of games available in the v3A format, I've switched the backend running the arcade system to a different one. Unfortunately this means all the data from the old arcade has been lost, but in this version many new games (many of higher quality) are available!

Visit the arcade now to play! (Click on Arcade on the top navigation bar)

If any games are substandard, please let me know and I'll remove it from the arcade. Otherwise, most of the games being uploaded have been tested for quality.

Games such as Tontie, Tire Toss, Soap Bubble and Aggressive Alpine Racing are all back!

This "This score was not submitted from the game. Your score will not be saved." shit needs fixing, though. Totally robbed me of a high score.

I like the new system (score info, etc etc blah blah) but I prefered the old layout (your personal info + stats on the side). Anyone else agree?

I suspect mo0 hax0ed the arcade. That Monkey Dude score looks TOTALLY suspicious!

Albatross Overload (Yeti 4) indeed doesn't work.

Also, that dino golf game is doing things wrong. LOW scores should be on top, not vice versa.

The new games look interesting. I'm glad the Yeti one is back.

I did like the old layout that had summaries for each game though.

Yeah, I would have had the top score in Castle Cat 4 too. That game is weird as hell, but actually has rather good art and sound.

hmm I think's there a prblem witht the jurassic park mini-golf game, the high score show 180 but isn,t in golf the best score the lowess? so the best score should be the person who did less then that no?

This is pretty nice... aside from the whole "Whoops an error happened your score's gone" thing that happens every so often, same thing as CHz.

Wahaha, again it's time to hunt Mo0's Monkey Dude score. Do you remember how I made a perfect run months ago? It was something like 30 digits long and then Bobo decided to remove the game. ='D

Nope, it's totally legit. If you get really good at the timing in that game, it starts multiplying your score over and over and over and over and over again.

x2, x5, x7, x10, ad nauseum. It makes for really huge scores, and in fact, for some reason the arcade rounds the score down to have all tjhose 0's at the end of it. I still have yet to make it all the way on one life, though, I'm guessing that's how you get the highest score.

Added some new games and fixed the golf game to count lowest scores as highest.

One minor glitch: Ninja Air Combat doesn't show up in the individual player ranking list. Please fix please.

Hey bobo, when I look at my rankings, it's only counting my 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place scores in as top ten finishes.

The only thing suspect about Mo0's score is the fact that he supposedly got it in only 33 seconds.
Unless there's something screwy with the timer stuff.

Bobo... did you remove the Tetris? =(

Seconding the re-adding of Pingu Toss (with the five throw, cumulative score).

I'm having a WONDERFUL time with the "the score was not submitted" error. I even had an SQL error playing that Wheelchair Spear game :\

Yeah, I got "Score was not submitted" on about a third of all the games I played last night. I couldn't find any similarities about why that was happening, seems to be completely random.

For me it only happens if I press the 'back' button at the highscores page after playing a game. However, this method does not always produce the error, but the error is only found this way.

I think I just got the highest score you can get on Power Driver 2.0, a 411. It was by luck on my third try. ^_^

I got that when I tried to submit my score in Tetris, I beat my old record, at least. But my head would have exploded if I got the highest score and it did that.

yeah the best way to avoid this problem is to not refresh the game page and clicking on go play "name of game" at the score page instead of hitting back ...

Another request: Can we reinstate comment editing that was present in the previous arcade (though I don't think on the pre-crash arcade).

I've got some older now out of style comments, next to trendy new scores. it's really embarrassing.

UrbanSlug 2 is additive once you figure it out. I can handle one or two guys with no problem, three guys your timing needs to right. Once you get up to 4 guys all hell breaks lose. I just hate those damn pirates. Get a bunch of guys shooting at you with a charging pirate. Your ass is in trouble!


I wouldn't count on it. I tried every thing nothing works.

Yeah, I agree it can be quite a fun game, once you kidnap a few people to exchange good cash for it and buy some Mushrooms to increase your speed, so you don't fall asleep walking through the boards.
I hate the pirates as well. I don't know whether it's a bug or their property that you often times just can't kill them with one shot. They just keep running in your direction.
The ghost figure with the mask is annoying as well, you just don't know when you can kill him. Especially every attack you do is followed immediately by a counterattack.
Also, I have gotten some new scores, but it won't submit due to the common error everyone receives. And it's definitely not that I press refresh when trying to play the game again.

is this request thread as well? I wonder if you would possibly add... scrabble >_>.

I've lost a score of 383 do to that damn error. After that I just got sick of the game. Now as for those screaming bastards that is part of the pirate’s gimmick. So random shots isn't the best way to kill these guys. What I do when under heavy fire, I call for an Air Strike and I keep the Ubergun ready. If the pirate manages to survive the bombing the Ubergun will finish him off. Then again the Ubergun will finish off any one at close range, regardless.

Noticed an interesting bug with the game information boxes on the arcade main page.

Why is the best score of all time lower than the "actual" high score?

I've noticed this also with Advanced Curveball, Pacman, and Streets of Fire.
