I would have to say Ipod. You can't go wrong with having 40gigs of Music in your pocket. ;D

Heh, funny you should mention.. I recently spent 200 bucks on a new graphics card to play oblivion :P Best 200 bucks I ever spent.

A bunch of CDs or DVDs. Maybe some old games as well. My Saturn needs a collection.

Buy clothing. You can get about three pairs of Air Force Ones with 200bux.

PSP? :shakes head: -- DS Lite and a few games (when it's readily available in a few weeks).

PSP for the lose, without a doubt.

Ipod is my go. Or I would suggest blank DVDs. You can never have too many blank DVDs.

I'd buy something worthwhile over the long term, something that won't likely sit around once the fascination wears off.

An iPod is a good bet. New clothes are also good. Male or female, sometimes it's nice to get new stuff to wear.

Maybe a really nice set of shoes. Some heavy shitkickers like Doc Martens or Lugz are always useful. I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have a set of Lugz and Vans to go around in. Nothing else feels right anymore.

Or you could use it to get some food and shit, then have a really kickass weekend with some friends. That's good too.

I would buy a new purse.

And if you don't have an iPod yet, then get one, especially if you like music. Although you'll probably be only to afford the Nano.

You mentioned Oblivion and you even have to think about how to spend the money? How very odd. Definately go with the new video card, which will be useful right away. iPod...not worth it. You can get a decent mp3 player for under $100, and the PSP...well, I can't judge because I haven't looked into it enough, but I figure making all of your Computer Games look prettier would be a great purchase.

You could buy a ton of socks with that kind of money.

Yes~ I've been wearing my Docs {combat boots} since 2001. The soles are still in pretty good shape too. I like how a pair of shoes has lasted me as long as my PS2 has lasted.

Of course, an Ipod would be an excellent purchase as well. I have truly enjoyed mine for the past year+.

A couple of months' worth of groceries would be an enjoyable way to spend the money too. But you'd get less enjoyment out of eating than you would a long last electronic device, over the long run.

Beer.

If money's tight I'd recommend a DS over a PSP (I own both). Games seem to be cheaper and are arguably better, UMD movies are on the verge of death, and no crazy load times. I just saw the Blue DS with the New Super Mario going for $160 CDN at Best Buy.

You could beautify the life of one of those poor children for eleven months.

Oblivion is really fun, but only for about a week. It is highly overrated so Id recommend against the videocard if Oblivion is the only reason for the upgrade.

Booze! Buy some booze, goddamit! $200 canadian is enough for 9 750ml bottles of Canadian Club (which, ironically enough, costs less per ml at my local liquor store when bought in smaller quantities. Go figure). And with the $2 left, you can probably buy some aspirins or something for the next morning.

If you're considering an iPod, be sensible and get a Creative Zen. Cheaper and better.

Did that just last month (preordered New SMB). Well worth it too.

I'd say the Ipod as well, but I figure better to go another $100~$200 and get one with massive storage, as opposed to the smallness of Nanos or Minis or Shuffles.

I'd go for an iPod, but $200 won't get me the 60GB video iPod I have my eyes on. My next idea would be an external 500GB hard drive, but the cheapest I can find one for is $300. So I guess I'd just spend it on importing CDs from Japan.

Treat yourself to an extremely expensive restaurant, then mourn the loss tomorrow.

And check out the local military surplus store. You can get some really nice combat knives like a british commando knife for about $30.

Other than that, I'd say to wait for the Wii. The iPod and PSP just aren't worth it.

I'd get a PSP (I want to play Gitaroo Man Live so bad :( ) or save up for the PS3/Wii.

PSP? lol. Expensive paper weights and dust collectors. I can't recall the last time I actually saw someone using theirs. Unluckily, I know alot of people who waisted their money on this "awesome all-in-one" device.

Personally I think Ipods are way overated, its just a portable hard drive with headphones.

For 200 dollars, buy a Archos Video Player. For 300 dollars, buy the Archos Digital Camecorder Video player. Stores computer data, music, videos, pictures, and works like a camdorder. ONLY FOR 100 DOLLARS MORE!

An MP3 player (not iPod, since I don't know a single person that has had one last over a year without problems...and I want .ogg support) and a moderately sized new HD (like, 200 GB).

Maybe throw in a little sheet music for good measure.

iPod is a great choice, as would be new CDs or a new mobile phone.

That is, if I personally had about that much. I recently got my mobile phone locked trying to change my PIN number to 2112 (yes, I know :(), and it's really old anyway... the screen itself was primitive when the Game Boy was a new product. But yeah, you probably wouldn't want that. Can't go wrong with CDs or an MP3 player of some variety, though. An external hard drive or something if you need one.

I wouldn't advise trying to spend it all in one place though. It's nice to have it there, in case you need it.
