Webcomics
Hey everyone
I was just wondering if anyone knows of any good webcomics . . . Just list the URL. Thanks. |
Does this really belong in The Comic Book Subforum? It isn't really about comic books so much as comic-book like material that really is closer to an online comic strip. And this is definitely not The Comic Strip Subforum... unless people still consider collections of comic strips as comic books; if so, my argument is moot.
I myself do not happen to read webcomics. I've never found any of them funny... |
There are long form web comics too, not all of them are funnies you know?
|

I second Perry Bible Fellowship also.
I recommend Mac Hall, Chugworth Academy, and Tsunami Channel I tend to have a bias towards good artwork. |
Ahh I remember first reading Chugworth and going from beginning to end: some real miss comics on a few, but a few are certainly golden.

clone-army.org
best looking webcomic out there. |
I'm a big fan of 8 bit theater myself.
Absolutely love that comic. |

I didn't want to post in this thread, but in fear that someone will beat me to this, here is my favorite.

You have some personal vendetta against Megatokyo? O_o

You know, because it DOES. |
More like Haterism.
I second Clone-Army though. Dan Kim is awesome, who else reads clone-army? Why do you like it? |

talesfromthevault (dot) com (forward slash) thunderstruck
How´s this for #¤¤%&%¤# or something... "you can´t.... not enough posts..." so I did this - replace the "-" with dots... /jr "Editing later".....: it seems as I can´t include anything with the three w´s in front of ANY address.... total crap if you ask me (and even if you don´t...) but well... Edit two: IT´S STILL A FUNNY (AND GOOD) COMIC!!! |
Being a furry fan...Jay Naylor's Better Days. Really good story line and constantly updated. Well, at least every Mondy and Friday. You should also check out his other comic New Worlds if you want more action. Be forewarned though, that his stuff is slightly R-rated. I forgot the web stie so you can search it on google. Really worth a look.

www.spamusment.com is pretty good, not updated anymore i think.
|
Okashina Okashi Is one of my favorite original webcomics. Most of the other ones are like are just like fan comics or something based off of games, anime, and other cartoons.
|
The best internet based comic I have ever come across is Bob The Angry Flower. It's varyingly clever and nonsensical, but always terribly and cynically hilarious.

My favorite is http://www.questionablecontent.net.
|
Only one I enjoy which has yet to be mentioned is http://www.sinfest.net
I check penny-arcade more frequently, but it can get a bit old... I enjoy sinfest's variety between the main characters, god and the devil, and the pets. |

My New Filing Technique Is Unstoppable and Get Your War On are both excellent. One day if you're bored and need something to do, just start at the beginning of filing techniques or GYWO and prepare to laugh. Filing techniques is basically a zany look at interoffice relationships. GYWO is a huge collection of current events inspired comics that began shortly after 9/11. Great stuff, unless you're a Dubbya fan. |

Also, the art has been on a steady decline since halfway through last year. It's like he figures now that he's profiting off the comic, he doesn't have to try anymore. |
I dunno, I still like questionable content. The others I peruse that were also mentioned include ctrl alt del (definitely my all time favourite), 8bit, and this other one that wasn't mentioned.
http://www.leasticoulddo.com/ Hilarious shit there, going through the archives it's had a few phases, different artists and such, but overall it's so friggin hilarious. Hell, I even went and bought the new comic book they are putting out. On that note, actually, forgot to mention I also subscribe to the ctrl alt delete premium thingy, for the animation and special stuff. The animations are SOOOO worth it, hilarious stuff. Bit shorter than one would figure they need to be, but quite well done. |
