The Nacho Cheesier trademark dates back to '93. I don't think I've ever had plain nacho cheese doritos. My only memories are of nacho cheesier flavored chips. I just assumed that nacho cheese was the original flavor and that they reinvented it with the cheesier branding.

Years ago they had an experimental flavor called X-13-D or something that tasted awesome. I think it ended up being that cheeseburger flavor they have now, but I remember it tasting better than those.

Cool Ranch is way better than that Nacho crap. Ironically I hate ranch dressing but I do like the flavor of those chips.
