Who love rockman exe here? This derived-from-game-series actually is getting hotter, the 4th season (Beast Arc) has reached up to ep 25 in japan. Fans said the current arc is actually the best compared to the previous installment (Axess, Stream)

Well, I just have watched Rockman Exe up to ep 16 (Axess). :edgarrock:The manga itself has reached to 9 volumes, and the tenth probably will be released around september 2006.

Yeah i pretty much enjoy watch the anime. Only problem is, they aren't subbed =/. I did see most of them when they were on the WB back then (first arc and Axess). How many episodes of Stream are there? from what i saw before, it looked like the story was more like Twin Leaders for DS.

There are about 51 eps of stream. pls check www.exehq.com, I havent watched any of them though. I heard that axess and stream are not too good compared with the original exe and beast.

Have you checked out the movie? it's totally a blast! I hope they make another movie like that.

This was another of those popular series that was horribly dubbed. The Japanese version of the original rocked.

Never seen this anime before but heard that they sort of $%#$ up Forte's voice in the dubbed version.

You should watch it! :D If you're rockman fan and love the stuff about cyber space and such you gonna absolutely love it! <3 But I think the seiyuu of the forte is a bit miscast. They use a woman for his voice. Very unsuitable IMO, considering he's the one of the main shonen counterpart and rival. I heard that the Axess and stream both are downfall since the first Exe. Anyone could tell me what went wrong with these arcs?

Then they added the Sinqro Chip, and everything went to hell.

I heard that Beast fixed this but hey, WPP can't sub quickly to save themselves so the world may never know.

the movie was great. i was thinking that they were going to do a little crossover with duel masters...

I'm some what a fan of this video game spin off anime. I loved the games up to 3 (4 was fun but stale, haven't played 5 yet) and I saw the dub of exe and some of axess. I did download the first 4 episodes of Axess and I found it entertaining. Then I had to watch the horrid dub and it just stunk. I actually like the synchro chip idea but from what I saw of the dub it did seem that they cheezed it a bit. I actually wanted to see more navi style action myself. I haven't seen any of stream or beast but there isn't much you can do when your on dial up (le sigh). I heard of the movie and saw a fold out ad of it and I couldn't tell if it was a dual masters/ rockman.exe cross over or just a double feature.

Rockman EXE 3 has the best storyline. I almost cried when saw the ending. The 4 and 5 are great, but the story is bit lame. 5 is great especially because you could play as Rockman cross Forte (goddamn powerful).

btw... anyone knows why Capcom hasn't released any Rockman EXE sondtracks beside the sound navigation 01? I think Rockman EXE musics are really2 cool... it's a pity that Capcom didnt release anything since the first arc.

3rd had best storyline, but... you have to admit on 3rd and 4th (if you are talking about game that is) you could make almost 1 hit death folder... but on 5th... PA combo folder just died off because of gay 1 PA combo per battle thing.

I have ALL of ROCKMAN EXE OST's on me. if you want them IM me for them. The best battle theme had to be part 2's .. Twin Leaders OST is the best one. I think Capcom should just make the EXE games for the DS.

I heard the anime is moving on up to another channel. If any place, it should be Cartoon Network on Toonami. they'll be glad to promote Megaman.

I'm also a hardcore merchandise collector and have almost everything that came out since the beginning, it's good to see more EXE fans here, there's hardly any talk about it.

Concerning the Synchro Chip, I think it was a nice thing to see... yes it made it look more like Power Rangers but it gave a good twist to the story. Everything was good until they decided to give everyone crossfusion in Stream which made the rest very dull to watch but most felt like filler anyways. Beast is alot better then Stream but nowhere near Axess. I guess everyone liked it because it has all the darkness and stuff :D

Btw, Beast ended not long ago and will continue soon with Beast+ which introduces Zero. I wonder what we can expect. Ofcourse it's the Zero from Network Transmission and not the one from Rockman Zero/Rockman X :p
Maybe they are just recycling characters to make a story. In Beast alot of unused EXE navi's appeared like Darkman.

Wow, I havent' watched any rockman EXE ep beyond 16 (axess) How I wish I could watch them all! >_<. But I'm afraid that the producer will prolong the story and making it into some never-ending series like digimon series. But well, if it's good, why not! xD

I agree, Twin Leader OST is very good, but Sound navigation is too! My favorite track is the three bonus tracks of course. I wonder what makes them delay the sound navigation 02, 03, etc.

i did catch the trailer/teaser for Rockman EXE. BEAST. They showed Zero looking a little too buffed with all the long hair. Design is alright but could've been better as well.


At first i thought the battle themes from 1-4.5 would be in it permanately..til i found out that i had to put in the games. I usually used Rockman EXE.2 for the battle theme. sounds better ^^:.

Also, As long as the producer doesn't flop like the digimon series (After digimon adventure 3) then EXE. will be just fine. I like how its done anyway then you get the games. Beast is probably the Greiga and Faltzer arc , correct?

Haven't played EXE5DS yet but i've seen some trailers with horrible "surfer megaman" voice acting. Doesn't it get annoying? And how well works the microphone feature to power him?
I didn't really liked the remade music. The EXE2 battle theme was good yes but the rest of EXE5 music just sounded "crappified". If you listen to both the GBA and DS version you'll notice many instruments missing in the DS one.

Regarding the Greiga & Falzar arc, yes it's EXE Beast. I watched the final episode today and was quite dissapointed of all the rushing, it could be so much better. Remember the battle against the Dream Virus? It's quite the same, only a bit longer and better but in the end there's all the dissapointment. Luckily Beast continues with Beast+, I hope it gives us something good. Rockman hasn't used his Cross ability yet so I guess that's what we're going to get.

Btw i've noticed that Megaman NT Warrior ended with the final episode of Axess so they should start with Stream soon. The airing date was quite a while back, are they giving up on Megaman?

The EXE gba game music sounds like 8bit music. its true =/. Thats why i believe is better to just make the EXE games in DS so that no one would to compare .

The actual opening for 5DS was the Stream opening Be Somewhere. The dubbing was quite annoying. the voices for netto,rockman,colonel and protoman was a little poor. i only wish the kept the original japanese voices like they did for Network Transmission.

Like i said before, I want CN to grab Megaman.

I think they are giving up Megaman (I am talking about american version.)since lot's of navis's name is copyrighted and it is pretty pesty to change the navi's name to something close. (like aquaman? It is copyrighted from DC, same with fireman, ect.)

Okay, MMBN5DS sucked ass. Only "new" thing is that there is "secret" chips, and Bass-crossfusion. (Which can be unlocked by using gameshark/action-replay on MMBN5.) And personally, MMBN6 was alright, wasn't as good as I thought.
If any MMBN was WI-Fied it would be awsome, since you could be showing off your polished skills and folder you made.

and that is why I want the EXE games to just be made into ONE game for the ds.

Yes I am serious. Capcom killed the game plot with looping mastermind after mastermind. Like Dr.Willy-Sean-Dr.Reagle. (See? They are all related.) I wish they would put Bass back in the plot. Or some other navi >.>

I never really liked Dr Wily being in the EXE series, period. Dr Wily is a crazy ass ,evil scientist i've seen. He can be compared to Dr. Robotnik in alot of ways. but an enemy in the cyberworld? Doesn't suit it well..


It seems that Capcom always puts Bass/Forte behind for some reason. Damnit. its because of him I'm still liking the original Megaman series..

Capcom killed the entire game with dumb the endingS scene of MMBN.

Example: MMBN 5: Mega turning to Hub and owning the boss with mustical power.

MMBN 3: After owning "internet", they see their grandpa and BRINGS BACK NOTE. (Is that even possible? Bring a NOTE PAD from cyberworld to REAL world.)

MMBN 4: Everyone screaming "WEEEE LLLUUVVVV YOUUUU MMMEEEGGAAMMAANNNNN" he suddenly gets uber power and turns metor's trail.

MMBN 2: With the "heart" system Netto/Lan oprates Mega. (Last minuting with the "heart" system.. I wouldn't complain if they mentioned it from beginning or something.)

MMBN 1: WTF, Megaman and Lan does "full syncro" after dumb chip being installed right in the end to change the 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 000000000000000000001% between those two. (Pretty obvious how Capcom last minuted by making Netto's dad poping out of no where and giving them the chip -.-)

So you let that kill your interest in EXE? Honestly, that would do the same for me ;p.

But i still want to give the Beast arc a chance..

I'm getting a bit tired of Bass. It isn't surprising anymore to see him. Serenade was pretty cool though, and a tricky bastard to fight. However, whatever they come up with I love Rockman EXE despite the obviously repetitive nature of the games. I hope they do something new and interesting with him after the last of the BN games.

The anime was alright, but game was BLAH. I played MMBN6 with my friend translating everyhing... wasn't very fun asking him what this or that ment.

I felt that the games are getting dragged on too much.. With Beast coming out, that should be the last thing of EXE.

MMBN6 is going to be final one... or that's how I heard it.

To think they focused too much on the EXE. series. Now they can focus all the way with X, megaman series, and Zero series(which i doubt they'll make a 5th one), and the newcomer ZX..

To tell you the truth... if you count MMBN serises(because after 2nd, it has 2 versions of all, and there is "extra" version such as 4.5 and not gonna name them all.), it has most games out of all Rockman.

X anime was sweet if you ask me. I loved how they designed their characters. Espically Zero.

I never got to play 4.5 at all. Only chance i got closer to it was the OST. it sounded alright but I wont bother playing it. MMBN overall should be put to rest. Legends anyone?

I heard the continuation will be on NDS, I'm glad and bit sad too. Glad because the sound driver of NDS is MUCH better than the GBA, but sad because that means I must buy a NDS.:doh:to play the MMBN series would be enough reason to purchase NDS, unless there is emulator.

Alot of people tried with NDS emulator. I think they failed at that. Unless I haven't been looking into it..

But. if the EXE series is going to continue, Make Netto a little more older after the Beast anime/Greiger-Faltzer games and of course the NDS.

btw do you heard the gossip that rockman EXE actually is the prequel of X series? I wonder if netto will actually be killed in the end... and he somehow become the X. xD. lol, just my imagination.

Or possibly introduce another chracter with rocky.exe (maybe after another 2xxx years after?)

I'm pretty positive it's the english translation that causes things to make a vague/weak impression, like the game endings. While I never played through a Japanese EXE game with complete understanding, i've heard alot from ppl who did and it seems that sometimes quite alot is lost in the translation. Or the translation is has the correct meaning but is written in a silly manner.

Regarding Forte/Bass, I don't really mind him not being part of the plot. He's a fun challenge since there are so many versions of him and in EXE6 he's very hard to beat. I agree he hasn't got much attention lately, but in merchandise version he's quite alive. On the World Hobby Fair not long ago, they released a Dark Rockman/Forte Navi Data Chip bundle. You can use it with the Beast Link Gate or the PET toy.

You know, I wonder if the next EXE DS game will be a MMORPG... then we can finally battle online. Hope they make it in a way so the game is abuse proof for the most part. Also, they should make more Network Transmission games, I loved sidescroller Megaman in the EXE world :)

Did you play Irregular Hunter X? you'd notice that Dr Light was around and said what he said when he created X or rather the intro of the snes version tells you. It doesn't say much, however, The Megaman series hasn't ended at all. All we have so far are 8 games from both stories. Thats where EXE. comes in. IF they do finish with Greiga-Falzter/Beast Anime, They can finally get back to finish the X series off with 9 or whatever they feel like @.@. Hopefully, We'll get a story between original and X games when that time comes (for the psp that is).

I am pretty sure .EXE and X are totally different. It would be weird if Capcom added .EXE with X...

I mean . You know how they had that little change when Zero goes into this crystal portal in Zero 3? it sorta had that execute screen(when Rockman gets into the net) like in the EXE. games.

oi. Im downloading the final episode of BEAST. hey, wtf is going on ? i thought they were just starting with BEAST. heh...

well it's kind of weird but they are finished with beondard and fossa ambience. it ends there with Beast, the gate closed and everything seems to be back to normal until we see what happens in the trailer, which is for Beast+. it features Zero from Transmission and it looks like he's bringing beast viruses with him somehow. Beast+ airs this saturday so better watch out for a release :p also Beast+ will only get 15min per episode instead of the original 30min :/

i wonder why the beast viruses are still there though. in Transmission, Zero was originally a virus. maybe it has to do with that somehow, dunno.

ahh that makes sense then. I did see a little sneak peek of it along with Ape Escape. heh i thought i was losing it >.>;;. But i really think they should make Netto older now. and some new fresh clothes for him and the rest of the characters...

just finished watching ep1 of Beast+. with only 15min of playtime they decided to replace the OP with a short remix of the crossfusion theme and remove the eyecatches. there's also no ED or next episode preview. kinda sucks but it's ok... it would be better if they made a new OP and ED though.

Beast+ looks different, art wise... it's like they have a new art director or something. the backgrounds are detailed and sharp. the character looks changed to something more chibi like and it's more rounded. also it seems they fiddled around with character height as netto sometimes looks smaller then before but it could be me. thankfully they got rid of the crossfusion transformation sequences, we don't have to worry about those kind of filler any longer.

story wise it seems they have made a good start. areas of the city get overwhelmed with plant like data and viruses appear in the real world without use of a dimensional area. they all seem to be Dream Bits which indicates Beast+ a strong relation with the Rockman.EXE Transmission game as this is the only game where Zero.exe is found. In the game you also had to battle the Dream Virus at the end. i guess they plan to mix alot of the game with the anime again.

Ok, I have news for you. Currently I'm scanlating my rockman exe manga (1-9). But of course that means the scanlation is a re-translation from my the local publish. Currently I'm having these problems:

1. Scripter for the scanlation, to make the raw script become enjoyable
2. Raw editor, to enchance the quality of the scanlation
3. A web host who is willing to upload the entire manga archive.

Translation is not problem since the scanlation is a re-translation. I will attach a raw scan here. Note that I translated the dialogue quickly and it may give you some confusion (these are raw translation anyway). Hopefully I will scan all 1 volume and editing them before next week.

The music of the anime is just very great. I really wish they would release it in future.

EXE fan represent. Though I haven't seen much beyond what's been subbed. ( I abandoned the dub around episode 17 of the first season. ^^; )

But, a new group is picking up Beast and Beast+. :3 They're closely associated with WPP, so they're leaving Axess and Stream for them, but the first episode of Beast is out and I think the second and third are coming out soon. PukuAnime homepage. ^^

the first season of course! Rockman exe anime is great! as a fan of Rockan exe you must watch this absolutely. ;) The axess is a bit tokusatsu, but still good though.
