Nintendo Sixty-FOOOOOOOOOOUR!!!!!!

http://youtube.com/watch?v=pFlcqWQVVuU

Haha, admit it, you were like this when you were a kid (I know I was)

Free.User Mar 27, 2006 01:57 AM

That was strangely sick... that kid needs to get out and see the world. I don't care how old he is.

Watts Mar 27, 2006 02:27 AM

That ummm made his... decade. I'd hate to see how he gets when he's on sugar.

nazpyro Mar 27, 2006 02:45 AM

Ya, I'd be smacked silly if I ever reacted like that. I probably did.

Oh...

MORRRRRRRRRRRTALLLLL KOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!!!!

Inhert Mar 27, 2006 02:46 AM

omg! the slow-motion at the end is so scary! XD

SketchTheArtist Mar 27, 2006 03:18 AM

LOL!!! Oh man, I'm crying....

It's like 3 AM here and I've watched the 'Slow-Motion' parts over and over again! Love it!

Elidibs Mar 27, 2006 03:30 AM

Kinda funny, kinda eh. I like how they were smacking the package.

Crash "Long-Winded Wrong Answer" Landon Mar 27, 2006 03:44 AM

Cute but a little melodramatic for a six year-old, I'd say.

If it were a Playstation, sure. But a Nintendo64? Come on. I bet he got Superman 64 and freaked for a day.

lemonmanko Mar 27, 2006 03:53 AM

now that... that was hot lol

see how kids were exicted to get a game system back then? ~sigh~ good times

Dee Mar 27, 2006 04:06 AM

I like how his sister was mimicking him... probably doesn't know what she's doing but enjoying the moment. =p

That was cute. Like the Nintendo 64 remote control car!

daxy Mar 27, 2006 08:26 AM

Hmm I wonder if he gets so excited like this with everything...

Try to imaging what that would look like if he had his first kiss.

Little kid (now around 12/13): ooommyyy goooooddddd my first *slowmo*kiiiiiiiiiiiiisssss*slowmo*

Then he and the little sibling would start smacking/tapping the girl he just kissed, just like the nintendo box..

I had to really look hard at this kid to make sure it wasn't me.

I was a real excitable psycho when it came to new consoles on Christmas. I had the same intonations, too. Like the totally nerdy, "noww we can ordar gaems from BLOCK buster!"

It's so real, especially when he opens the smaller present AFTER the big one (which is dumb, my parents would always put the big one at the end), and he tries to match the excitement, but he's just not that interested. "NINTENDO 64... remote controlled car...."

No. I can't admit that at all.

As I was watching, I started wondering, "Are they ever going to open the box?" Because I know that that's the first thing I would have done.

Snowknight Mar 27, 2006 11:40 AM

I can't say that I got that excited when I got my N64. Sure, I was excited, but not to the point of empyrean ascendance.

That kid needs to take something for that ;_;

Greykin Mar 27, 2006 11:55 AM

I like how the car was such a disappointment to him after the N64 :P.

I also like how the parents decided to stick this up on the internet for jerks like us to make fun of them lol.

Anywho, he's gonna sleep well tonight lol.

ComCrimson Mar 27, 2006 12:21 PM

I don't believe i've ever gotten that excited over a console. I think if i did, my parents would shout at me for like screaming down the house.

The little kid like slapping the box was hilarious though. 'WOW! An N64! *Slaps the shit into it* WOW!'

Shenlon Mar 27, 2006 12:43 PM

That kid must have really wanted a nintendo although I didn't know that the boxes were that big o_0
It was funny when he saw his other present, he really didn't care ^_^
Gah but so annoying, thats the kind of kid that brags about it.
"Now we can rent some games from blockbuster!!"

WraithTwo Mar 27, 2006 05:53 PM

Replace that Nintendo 64 with a Super Nintendo, and that was me on Christmas '91.

Now THAT was a system worth getting excited over.

Rockgamer Mar 27, 2006 06:11 PM

I don't believe I've ever gotten a console on Christmas. Even if I did, I wouldn't have a damn orgasm over the thing. He was so excited that there was no need to actually open the box. I would have at least done that before I even opened any other presents.

Elixir Mar 27, 2006 06:12 PM

Reminds me of the time I first played my SMS, and stayed up until 11 pm. Back when I was 4, staying up until 11 was like staying up beyond infinity playing games.

I wasn't as excited as this kid, though. Shinobi was hard for a 4 year old.

Neogin Mar 27, 2006 06:32 PM

Gee, the expression on the kid's face after looking at the car was priceless..

Infernal Monkey Mar 27, 2006 07:31 PM

I still react in such a fashion with anything video game related. Why just the other day I gave the postman a heart attack when he delivered some Target junk mail. "WOW TEN PERCENT OFF NIIIIIIINTEEEEENDOOOOOOOOOO"

Spatula Mar 27, 2006 07:58 PM

I totally acted like that when I got Donkey Kong country for SNES on Xmas. Damn, those were the days. I also remember beating the game the next day. NON STOP GAMING WRRRYYYY!!!

Lukage Mar 27, 2006 09:25 PM

Lets hope you hugged him and chased him down. Oh, Target sucks.

I recall the Christmas I got my NES.

"This is really for me?"
"Yep."
"And I can keep it? This is really from Santa?"
"Yep."
"I love Santa."

A few years later, I'd lose my brick in a fatal fire accident that prompted the purchase of a Gameboy Pocket. Orgasms would have been stirring in my pants if I was old enough at the time to know what one was.

J-Man Mar 27, 2006 09:33 PM

ROFL!!

Thats the reason why you give the kid his presents in ascending coolness. That way, all presents after the peak of cool arent complete crap.

NovaX Mar 27, 2006 09:45 PM

Ahahahaha!

I am so glad I never acted like that, my parents would have given me so much shit.

"Remember when you wet you pants in excitment on christmas in 94?"
"Yes, mum"
"And in 95?"
"Yes.."
"I can't remember, did you do it in 93 too?"

Lukage Mar 27, 2006 09:48 PM

So what about the other kid? He wasn't all that excited. Must have been a SEGA fanboy. :p

"N64 and a remote control car...."

[[thinks]]

**I wonder if I could trade this car for a game.....**

Contracts Mar 27, 2006 11:04 PM

Yeah, But he's reminds me of when I got my N64 back when I was like 8. Although I didn't do that, But I was happy as fuck. N64 back when I was 8 was like the Jesus of gaming (for me anyways, I was young come on). I remember my first game to, "Blast Corps". That was an awesome game.

Spyer Mar 27, 2006 11:16 PM

Haha. Priceless. It reminds me of what I did when I got my n64 for christmas. I nearly crapped my pants in joy!

LS Mar 27, 2006 11:49 PM

I got this excited when i first got open my PSP box, after 2minutes i settled down and i was like "yeah" after that no more excitement T_T.

"OH SHIT! I GOT THE PSP! ORGASM TIME! OOOOOH YEAH BABY! HELL YEAH!
YEAH! I'VE GOT IT.........OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH YEAH!
HEY......This is pretty neat.
Sexy.
Damn, PSP.
Hmm.
Yeah.
WTF."
*paperweight*

I was the same way about Doom 3.

Nice coaster indeed.

Synthesis Mar 28, 2006 01:16 AM

hahaha. I don't think I was ever that adamant about anything I ever got for Christmas. Thought this kid might end up having a seizure. :judge:

Chibi Neko Mar 28, 2006 02:25 AM

you can tell that the little girl was just copying her brother ^_^

LS Mar 28, 2006 04:23 AM

My PSP is actually used now as a paperweight, and i just use it for uhm, i dont know using it as a flash drive, after i played a few games it became boring.

kupomog Mar 28, 2006 04:35 AM

"I think they're excited."

Hahaha, that was annoyingly hilarious, especially the slow motion (friggin' awesome). And his reaction to the car...NINTENDO 64!!... remote control...car..? I'm trying not to laugh out loud or else I'll wake my parents but OH MAI GAAAAWD.

I've never gotten that excited before...but that's only because I refuse to show that kind of excitement... bahaha.

b-hc.net|andrew Mar 28, 2006 08:24 AM

..... o_o! I guess I always got this excited whenever I got a gaming system.... basically because in my town... stuff like that was rare, so whenever I got one I felt like the coolest kid in town, I think the onyl time I didnt was when I got a SNES.... I was like WTF is this thing? ..... HOw do I use it?

Dubble Mar 28, 2006 09:00 AM

Oh man. I cannot stop laughing at that. XD

I dont ever remeber getting that exciting over getting a console. And the bit where they slow down the FOOOOOOOOOOOOUR is just terrifying XD

Elixir Mar 28, 2006 03:54 PM

I like how the entire family is wearing the same set of pyjamas. And the mother is all "I think they're excited" after both of the kids have stopped screaming at the top of their lungs.

I wonder how much ADD pills cost these days.

Rydia Mar 28, 2006 04:21 PM

Whenever my older brother gave me consoles for Christmas, he would save it until the end. I remember getting an N64 for Christmas as well, but the excitement wasn't nearly as intense as the one from that clip. =p

ApOcaLyPSe_1985 Mar 28, 2006 04:29 PM

omfg, that's the most happy kid i've ever seen! my parents would've locked me up if i we're doing the same :p
just scary... hope my children won't be like that EVER

WolfDemon Mar 28, 2006 05:03 PM

I believe I've just found a new avatar/sig combo.

We all knew this was inevitable. :lolsign:

Kanji Mar 29, 2006 12:58 AM

zomg
When I got a SNES, it was like "k", since I wasn't really even aware of stuff called video games.
But yeah, getting an N64 was probably the best console gift I ever recieved, hype-wise. I was like this kid, but it was all mental. Seems like I had somewhat of a good composure back in those days too. D:

And rofl, my sister would probably do something similar to the one in the video. :p

also, is this on america's funniest home videos yet or wut

IdleChill Mar 29, 2006 01:29 PM

I used to get really excited over Legos, man. That was the shit.

Might I also add that video games ruined my social life in grade school. :(

Kaiten Mar 29, 2006 05:48 PM

Funny thing is my sister acted in a similar way when I got her Kingdom Hearts 2, you'd think she had one $1,000,000 or something.
I got hyped up about things, but not near the level of that kid. He probably had a brain tumor affecting his pleasure center in that video.
I would have loved to see the reaction he would've had if the system had been a Sega 32X...

SEGA!!!! 32X? What's this? :(

kupomog Mar 30, 2006 03:33 AM

I just love how he slaps the crap out of the box. I treated the box and system like glass when I got it, was almost afraid to open anything in it...

It has. And (lost the source) there is one where the box's top was turned into a turntable to make the kid look like he's rapping.

Ryuu Mar 30, 2006 09:18 PM

O_O

ROFL!

Wow...just think how he must of reacted when he got a playstation. (:p)

I thought it was amusing how he over-emphasized the fact that he got the N64. Plus he looked

Spoiler:
a bit too old to believe in Santa. Santa's fake kids, remember that.

Oh and lol at him being unexcited by the "Nintendo 64 racecar". But at least he can always "rent games from Blockbuster..."

...

Inhert Mar 30, 2006 10:58 PM

all I could think if that this probably an old video, and I would so love to see the face of that guy now seeing this video on the net >.>

Gechmir Mar 30, 2006 11:42 PM

GRRRAAAAAWWWWWWRRRRRR.

Fucking AWESOME. I love this video. So. Damn. Much. I was in tears laughing at this kid going apeshit in slow-mo.

Amy-Chan Apr 5, 2006 12:41 PM

My boyfriend is WolfDemon and he is using this as his avatar now.

He showed it to me and I had to watch it atleast four times. I think that is the funniest thing i have seen in a while!

deadally Apr 5, 2006 10:50 PM

Quite funny...but considering this was 9 years ago, the kid probably put it up himself

Shoops Apr 10, 2006 02:09 PM

Very Funny, at least the sister is polite and say thank you!

Watashi_Baka_Da Apr 14, 2006 09:13 PM

 I think that is the most I have laughed all week!!
Friggin' Funny!
