Game over, Juanzen wins!

Each day lasts 24 hours and begins at 3pm. I’ll keep this thread updated with the latest scores, and at 3pm every day (or close to it, depending on what happens at work) I’ll post everyone’s new tiles to bring their total back up to 14.

Remember:
-POST YOUR WORDS IN CAPITAL LETTERS
-Post your moves/scores in the thread
-Letter/word multipliers only work for the first word(s) played on them (lots of folks make this mistake).
-I go through and change the blanks on the board to italic letters in different font.
-This should go without saying, but it is illegal to use a website or other tool that will generate the best possible combinations based one what tiles you have. It's perfectly fine to peruse a dictionary, but beyond that you're on your own.

I’ll be checking scores/letters for accuracy. If anyone makes a word for which they don’t have the letters, or any other illegal move, they forfeit that turn, and I’ll take the letters off the board if no one has played off them yet.

Alright, I've laid down VEDETTE (76) and THEELIN (24) for a nice, even score of 100. Hell if I know what either of those mean, though!

Stupid internet died again. I'll tally up everything and make my move in the morning.

I played ISOZYMES for 22 points and DONATING for 20, for a total of 42. Add my bonus for using all my letters and I have a grand total of 92.

Smelnick: On the board, you placed SAGUARO on DONATING, not THEELIN. I was going to move it to where you stated it should go, but then I realized you didn't have an R to make the word anyway. Therefore, you forfeit the turn.

EDIT: I made VAUNTER (33 points) and WRUNG (18 points). I'll update the leaderboard and post the new letters this afternoon.

Did I put in a wrong letter somewhere, then? I used 14 letters between my two words...

You're right, you did use 14 letters. I'll check when I get home tonight, because I have the letters you drew written down there. All I checked were how many Is you used, compared to how many you had, and deleted the letters you used. Maybe I typed in one too many letters for you yesterday.

Ah crap. I forgot to delete the R from my list of words after making Elixir. Sorry bout that. Oh well, I'll do better next turn.

nutty, was there something wrong with my score? I listed 62 but I have 70, you never mentioned a mistake about that, bit confused.

When I tallied your score, I got 70. As in previous games, I'm not going mention minor mistakes in scoring, because it happens too frequently, both too high and too low. If I remember right, your score for OOGAMETE was higher than you said, because you didn't do both double word scores.

I was wrong about Sousuke's bingo; I must have typed one too many Is yesterday. I've credited his bingo in the standings. It's up to you, Sousuke; if you want to trade in that I you have, you can with no penalty, otherwise, everything is square.

I haven't checked any moves today yet. My cat is getting angry because I haven't paid him any attention since I walked in the door.

I laid down MAHARAJA, using my boost blank to get through as an A for 66 points. Rockgamer (I think) popped in to provide me with the A I'd been needing, but sadly wasted the other triple word score. I'm not sure yet whether or not I disapprove of this action.

Haha, I saw that word magically appearing after I started putting in my word. If I would have started posting it a minute later I would have been :rockstopped: for sure.

My moves for the day are VULGATES (48) and KEEN (26).

I'll keep the I, just for simplicity's sake. Working on my words now, will [edit] this in a few minutes with my move. :3

I've laid down WINKS for my final turn. That nets an additional 24 points, bringing me up to a nice, even 90 points for the day.

I swear, I just keep screwing you up. I added a T to your letters, drawn randomly.

Got it! After about an hour of looking at my letters and the board, I think I've bingoed again~

Other than JAZ[Z]IER is actually 42 points because one of the Zs is a blank, you are correct. Nice move!

Ugh, after my first day back at school, I have a splitting headache, so I can't stand to look at these letters anymore. Therefore, I played FLAW for 20 points, giving me a total score today of 80. Probably not my best moves, but it's all I could come up with for now.

Whoops! I always forget to put a '0' in the score calculator for blanks. Thanks for catching that!

After a loooong look at the board, I've decided to play...

Hm, a depressingly low scoring day for me. I played SCAPOLITE down at the very bottom for 42 points and HOG off of MAHARAJA for 21 points. That brings me to 63 for the day.

Yeldarb's DONGLE is disallowed, because neither OA nor NY are words. He loses the turn, and since his other turn was used to trade in letters, he gets no points today. (Why did you do that, anyway, Yeldarb? Shouldn't you trade letters first, then see if you can make a better word?)

This left me with a problem. I don't want Yeldarb's blunder to kill the triple word score for everyone, nor do I want to give someone an easy 9x word score by leaving the E there. Unfortunately, RockgamerXIII played LOX off of DONGLE. Here's what I've decided:

I removed DONGLE and LOX from the board, which gives anyone the same chance to use that triple word score as before, having to deal with the A and Y. I still gave RockgamerXIII credit for LOX in his score.

So many vowels to deal with today... ugh. Anyway:

Again, probably not the best, but I probably stand no chance of winning anymore anyway. So yeah, I played REFLECTION for 32 points and MUGG for 14 points, only giving me 46 points for today.

Another sad night. I play HEAVE and GONG for a total of 34 points.

The funny thing about this game is that it always works out that there are different score strata, with ~3 people with close scores, but way seperate from the other groups. I usually just focus on beating those in my stratum, which this time seems to be you and Tritoch.

So basically it's just OLDK now. Team Devin vs. Team MD, except you don't have naz to back you up (like you ever do anymore).

I've learned to live with the :nazfail:.

I've laid down RIBWORT (48) and OFTIMES (28) for a total of 76 points. Such a depressing day, seeing as how I've only got one letter remaining.

Actually, I'm declaring Juanzen the winner of this game. After almost a month off, it's a bit ridiculous to pick up where we left off. Juanzen and Sousuke were the only ones really in contention for first place, Juanzen was in first the last full day we played, and he scored more than Sousuke on the very last day.

Once things settle back to normal, I'll see about starting up another game.
