GFF Arcade: Add/Remove Game Requests
 

Perhaps if the demand is strong enough, we can convince Bobo and the Admins to seek out and restore beloved games from the past to the Arcade.

And if there's anything you feel is just god-awful, voice opinions upon that too.


Add:

Nanaca Crash - It was silly and extremely aggravating but also a total blast. Plus, it has part of my name in it and I'm an ego-whore like that.

RaidenX - Holy crap was this game intense. My knuckles got stiff from hours of play. It also had a great "save" feature that's rare for games of this nature.

Curveball - A very calculating, tricky game. Highly addictive.

Smack the Rabbit - I was just getting good at it and the smooshing noise was quite satisfying.

Alchemy - I enjoyed this puzzler a lot.

Remove:

Typing Test - Submit script doesn't work.

Super Mario Mushroom - The Max Score is too low and can be attained by anyone on the first play-through.

Zookeeper - I own Zookeeper. THIS IS NOT ZOOKEEPER. It is imitation garbage.

I second Nanaca Crash

REMOVE:

Adventure Golf : All you have to do is scrap all the holes and you get 72 (the high score).

Add:

Monkey Diving FOR CHRISTS SAKE

Remove:

Typing Test for reasons mentioned above

Why not fix typing test?

Because the games are acquired in "finished" form; we don't have enough ability to recode the game to make an attempt worthwhile.

If Typing Test was coded improperly or accidentally omitted the submission script when it was being converted for inclusion in the games bundle we got, there's not much we can do other than not use it.

Besides, presuming that we could get it working, it's still not that fun.

I liked Mine Cart or whatever it was called. I'd like to play that game again.

Is madfistbt still around? I expect him to be the new mothecuntin Free Kick Expert again.

Please add Soap Bubble back. Okay, the plot was not all that bright, but it was great fun to play and achieving high scores required quite a bit of skill. I'd like to battle with TubeRacer and xenosomething on that one again.

I already made a post about those game, which should be removed.

And yeah, we definitely need more Nanaca Crash and Curveball here. Is there any other Arcade Game like Typing Test? In principle this game should be very suited for the Arcade, but as long as it won't submit your score...

While we're here, can we put the game category tabs to good use?

I thought RaidenX is boring. Just a competetion to see who could play it the longest. And I didn't die once my first (and only) playthrough.

I'm fine with removing the games listed so far. Also in favor for Nanaca Crash returning.

I forgot the name, but what was the game where you had to catch falling monkeys or else they'd fall to their death? I seem to recall Mush getting the high score in that one.

So what if a game is luck-based? Many of them are, to an extent. Doesn't make it any less fun or competitive. If you don't like it, don't play it.

Can we get a version of Nanaca Crash that doesn't suck?

I'd like the ability to keep playing it until I get a high score I want to submit. It keeps track of your highest score anyway so what is the big fucking deal with giving us only one turn. Let us play until we're done and then hit the submit button. Besides sometimes you just can't get that guy to fly as far as you want initially anyway and yay you have to go through the intro and everything all over again.

So please if we're going to have Nanaca Crash please for the love of god and all that is holy give us a good version of it.

Most of the games in the Arcade still blow, and we're still missing many of the old favorites. Any chance this will be worked on again? Bumpity bump bump.

I'd still like to know how bobo modified Nanaca Crash. If he got the original .fla, I am very much interested.

What happened to Donkey Kong? That was a better arcade translation than Metal Slug. I'd like that added.

Puzzle Bobble and Nanaca Crash. Those two games I played more then any other ones off the old bored....even Tetris. I would also like to see Balloon bomber back as well....

If this stupid 600 vbarcade games torrent would work I would start digging through it to find the games you requested. Look forward to seeing new games soon though. =p

A bit off-topic maybe, but how do you challenge someone to a game? It has to be possible since there is an instance listed in the "recent challenges" spot, but I haven't found the way.

Go to your UserCP and click on Edit Arcade Options. There's an option "allow challenges" that you have to set.

If I may request Jewel Quest? I am probably the only asshole on Gamingforce that plays this game when I am bored, but I would REALLY like to see it on Arcade again. I remember it didn't work for a few months down there for me, but I would love to see it back again. Please? ;_;

Aww man. The PHP files don't containthe scripts that install the games into the arcade like the others do. I think I have to manually add a script oe by one to get them to work. They re uploaded on the server though. What a waste of time.

Ok. Added a bunch of random new games to the arcade. Also added the leader board so you can see which users hold the most awards. Use the rating system to let me know which games are crap and need to go.

Still can't find Puzzle Bobble and Nanaca Crash. ;_;

I noticed something, though. It seems not all games can appear on the page at once, so I sometimes have to refresh a couple times if I'm after a specific one. Anyone else experienced this?

Probably because the arcade seems to default to the crappy 'random' section. Choose 'All' up above. =o

Is there any plans to fix the High Score tables from showing multiple scores from 1 person?
A LOT of games have almost the entire Top Ten being only 1-3 people showing because of that...:(

Whack a Beast can be removed. You can't submit scores.

Also Sonic has the most annoying physics engine ever. :(

Thoroughly enjoyed Transformers and Ninja Air Combat.

I played that TF game and I couldn't find a way to save scores. I forgot to mention it in my post.
Oh, and I liked that game too, but I hate those jets. I never seem to get them.

When I get off of work later tonight I'm probably gonna remove some of the 1 star rated games and the two games that won't allow you to submit a score. I also wanna organize all the games into their correct category.

Everyone needs to play Mister Fox. It's like the coolest arcade game we've ever had.

How come I cannot submit my score for Ninja Air Combat? It just stays there at the end credit with my score under the big Mausland sign.

Speaking of which, perhaps the best Mausland game I've played. Which isn't saying much.

Highscore woo! While the game is fun it would be better as a stand alone game. 3 lives just isn't enough. You get to the log boss and it's pretty much game over ville.

Mausland Ninja is broken.

Out of Halloween attempts to submit your score, but isn't configured right so nothing is being submitted. Fix or remove please.
