ChocoJournal Update + Archive

I am almost done with reinstalling ChocoJournal back on GFF. There was a lot of work to do and this popular feature has been a big priority of mine. Since a major chunk of the archive was the ChocoJournal, it was important that I had ChocoJournal fully working on that before releasing it.

Expect these features to be launched in the next few days. :)

Bigblah Mar 13, 2006 11:52 PM

yay

Take that, minimum character limit! Hah!

Timberwolf Mar 13, 2006 11:54 PM

Thanks bobo.

I never got around to using the ChocoJournal. Maybe this time around.

coeccias Mar 14, 2006 01:39 AM

I think this is excellent news. I hope everything goes as planned.

Kaleb.G Mar 14, 2006 01:45 AM

I offer encouragement. My postcount increases.

Not in Board Support it doesn't.

Never used to anyway...

nazpyro Mar 14, 2006 09:39 AM

Maybe I'll start using it too. I only started blogging in the middle of last year. Perhaps I'll sync entries here with the ones on my site.

Correcting Shin in Board Support = Postcount++

=P

Fluffykitten McGrundlepuss Mar 14, 2006 03:13 PM

Really? I thought Board Support was a zero postcount forum?

My bad, postcount+ away, fellas.

B4-Hunter Mar 14, 2006 03:18 PM

Yey *faint* Finally =D

nadienne Mar 14, 2006 08:41 PM

So...this means we're getting our old posts back at some point, right?

Roph Mar 14, 2006 08:49 PM

This is good news =D I'd just gotten in the habit of using my journal after not using it at all for ages and then GFF crashed :(

Tails Mar 14, 2006 09:05 PM

Awesome, more ways for Sass to gather "files" on people.

Will there be any update on the ban circumvention (used to get around a ban from a persons journal) anytime soon? Sass is creepy. ;_;

Neogin Mar 14, 2006 09:05 PM

Awesome. ChocoJournal is so much better than Myspace, >_>

No.

What part of seperate archives don't people understand?

Eleo Mar 14, 2006 10:40 PM

I think it would be difficult to get back old posts, since someone would have to manually assign old posts to each username.

But as long as they're there in some form, that's fine. A lot of wiki pages have to be fixed, though.

I poked it and it made a sad sound Mar 14, 2006 11:09 PM

Ah, so, you believe me now, do you.

Would you really BAN me because I have a few files on you? ;_; I thought they would be USEFUL!

So maybe its been said, but where will the archive's permanent home be?

Infernal Monkey Mar 14, 2006 11:20 PM

I also have a file, contains personal information about all of you.

That's all I'm going to show, it gets pretty intense!

Dark Nation Mar 14, 2006 11:42 PM

OMG Infernal: Roger Ramjet! I forgot all about that show o_o

also, YAY to returning Chocojournals.

Rockgamer Mar 14, 2006 11:57 PM

Sweet, we're getting are chocojournals back. Now I can get back to my random bitching about nothing!

Sorry to be a pain, I'm glad we're getting ChocoJournal back but when are we going to get ChocoSig back?

This really ain't the thread for it is it son. Is it also that important these days, given there are a number of free image hosts widely available these days. Just sign up for one of those.

Also, yay for returning Chocojournals. Out of interest, how is the Chocojournal archive going to work?

Zergrinch Mar 15, 2006 11:58 AM

Same as the archive I imagine. Log into the board with your old credentials to access your ChocoJournal entries.

ComCrimson Mar 15, 2006 02:35 PM

This is awesome news. I'm lost without my ChocoJournal!

value tart Mar 15, 2006 04:03 PM

Infernal, you didn't steal that secrets file from furby, did you?

NYRSkate Mar 15, 2006 04:05 PM

Probably not, but you look like you stole his favorite color.

Elixir Mar 15, 2006 06:37 PM

Neat, it might actually happen this time.

Or, it could be delayed! Delaying forum activities is about as entertaining as watching Twilight Princess be delayed another 3 years at a time, keep up the good work.

Acro-nym Mar 15, 2006 08:57 PM

I've already planned out my first couple of entries. This is such good news.

Eleo Mar 16, 2006 08:21 AM

What kind of nerd. Why don't you just open MS Word or OpenOffice and write them there. Do you require an audience for it to be a valid journal entry?

Dude how do you post so much? It's like you post 100 times a day.

Elixir Mar 16, 2006 09:57 AM

That's because he does.

map car man words telling me to do things Mar 16, 2006 10:01 AM

I weep for my lost year of journal goodness, but at least it's comforting to know some of them are coming back and I can write more.

Good work, bobo~

Good work, bobo~

There was far too much angst and cooking in your journal, buddy. It's no great loss...

Darkk Child Mar 17, 2006 10:43 AM

I'm elated at the prospect of the returning chocojournal! I like the Sasuke-kun avatar and the other picture, too.

I poked it and it made a sad sound Mar 17, 2006 10:45 AM

Every day, I am missing my journal. There are so many quirky things happening to me on the outside - so many pictures taken, so many things seen.

How much long do we get this blessing back? I never realized how much I love the future until I've had to go without it. ;_;

RacinReaver Mar 17, 2006 12:59 PM

Can't you people just make a LJ and link in your sig or something.

bobo Mar 17, 2006 01:01 PM

My goal is to have it up sometime today. :)
