Your first kiss?

So, when was the first time you kissed someone in a romantic fashion, for lack of a better term? If you haven't really made out with a person but have "pecked" or whatever that can count I suppose. Look, I'm a little off right now so you fuckers need to work with me.

I was thinking about this after reading a post in the breathless moments thread and realizing that two days (the sixteenth) from now will be my 10 year anniversary since my first kiss. I was fifteen. Had just met this girl Amanda earlier in the day and me and a buddy went to pick her and another girl up. Amanda and I were in the backseat and, even if she was cute, I hardly knew her. We started drinking Mickee's beer and after a while she just started trying to kiss me but I'd turn away. I'd never kissed a girl before and I wasn't sure I knew how to kiss that way. Finally I just gave in and kissed that broad and, surprisingly, it sorta came naturally. Altogether her and I were liplocked a good four hours that night. I remember the Keith Sweat song Twisted was on, and I remember being one block south of where the Landmark Casino was in Vegas.

How about you Sam?

The Wise Vivi Jan 17, 2007 01:35 AM

After breaking up with my first girlfriend which lasted a month (and we didn't kiss), I made out with another girl on a Friday night in September 2002. We were together for 1 year and 10 months (Longest relationship so far). Yeah.... my first kiss was a pretty wild making out session. I was 18.

Drex Jan 17, 2007 02:29 AM

Sadly enough, all my kisses have been related to acting. Even the one where the chick pulled me down onto a couch so she could smooch me (we were backstage). I don't consider myself as having had a first romantic kiss yet (blame the psychotic ex-girlfriend for me not wanting to be close to anyone).

Krelian Jan 17, 2007 04:12 AM

Thirteen. Towards the end of the summer some friends of my mother's had family staying (this is in the middle of rural France where nothing is going on and every summer is a case of never seeing anyone my own age, what fun), and they had a thirteen-year-old daughter. And wow. Over the course of the week it'd just be a case of meandering around together, but on the last night before she left to return to the US we were alone in an orchard and wound up sitting down together at the base of a tree. I was like "oh fuck what the fuck do I do I've fucked up so badly", but then she wound up kissing me and this went on for a long time.

She returned to New York, and we haven't seen each other since... However, we fell back into contact again last year.

Thank god.

tiki Jan 17, 2007 08:13 AM

I think I was about 12, and some chick in a fairy outfit gave me the pashing of a lifetime backstage at some theatre thing! I was dressed as a luminescent mushroom (don't ask), and distinctly remember having the most raging boner of my young life for about an hour afterwards.

The Wise Vivi Jan 17, 2007 09:45 AM

Boy after reading a few of these, I was a late starter on the whole kissing part. Not saying I am upset for not having the opportunity until being 18. It was quite the wild one too. I guess that made up for all the years I missed.

Alice Jan 17, 2007 10:07 AM

I was in the eighth grade and it was Jimmy Forrester. We were at a school dance and we sort of "hooked up." Well, as much as 8th graders hooked up back in those days. I will never forget the lame line he worked me over with:

HIM: Have you ever kissed anyone before?
ME: No.
HIM: Would you like to come to Jimmy's kissing school?
ME: I guess.

I still remember every. single. detail. Down to the way I almost gagged at the feeling of someone else's tongue in my mouth. Still, I had the BIGGEST crush on him for years afterward.

The Wise Vivi Jan 17, 2007 10:10 AM

So, you were disgusted by the tongue thing? I guess grade 8 is pretty young for doing something like that. Any reason why you had a crush on him for years afterwards?

Such a Lust for Revenge! Jan 17, 2007 10:23 AM

Good God. It sounds like Alice's first kiss was with Infernal Monkey. What a line!

Alice Jan 17, 2007 11:37 AM

Oh, I conquered the gag relex after the second or third kiss. It was just so...slimy. And to this day I have no idea why I was so hung up on this kid. He was small, immature, wore glasses and had this weird curly blonde hair. Although now he's a cardiologist and almost went to the Olympics as a swimmer a few years back, so I guess I shouldn't question my excellent taste in men!

The Wise Vivi Jan 17, 2007 11:40 AM

Well, you could have just gotten lucky by having a crush on him, and not someone else at the time. ;) Just kidding. I guess the small, immature, glasses wearing people surprise a lot of people in the end. I was one of those people.... although I was short and fat....

Domino Jan 17, 2007 11:52 AM

Oh boy. This is a hard one to remember. I have been told that I my first kiss was when I was 7/8 years old. It was with a girl called Sarah or Hayley, and we kissed behind the old garages just down the street from where I live now. I know it happened but with it being some 15 years ago, my memory of the event is a little hazy.

franposis Jan 17, 2007 11:57 AM

I think I was about... 10? I was round my friends house just playing around normally when she just suddenly jumped on top of me and started kissing me :\ that went on for ages, then later on I kissed her older brother. Never occurred to me as odd at the time that he was 4 or 5 years older than me...

Wojo Jan 17, 2007 12:52 PM

I got my first kiss when I was 16. It was with a co-worker at the grocery store I worked at. We were going out at the time and while we were hugging I made the first move.

Thankfully I never got denied of a kiss. I cant even imagine how awkward that is.

Helloween Jan 17, 2007 02:06 PM

I was on german exchange while i was 16, and i had met a german girl there, who i developed a bit of a thing for in almost no time at all. Me, her, and two other friends went out bar hopping one friday night, and after we both had had a few beers, we were both feeling sort of playful. After a while she just leaned in and kissed me. I was a little shocked, with it being my first kiss that actually meant anything, and the fact that i had met this girl two days previous. I returned the favour, and for the rest of the night we were very close. I came to my senses, and broke up with her in a few days time. I would've liked to have stayed with her, but nothin' doin'. I was going home to Canada in just a few weeks, and more i stayed with her, the harder it would've been for both of us.

Before that it was all in plays and truth or dare games.

Did that girl end up becoming a lesbian, or was she just a 10-year-old who thought kissing was cool? Just wondering.

My first kiss was when I was 17. I was with my first girlfriend, we were cuddling on a bed in the dark, talking, and kept shifting closer and closer to each other, until our lips were practically touching while we talked. So finally I closed the rest of the distance. I was a really bad kisser, but she managed not to laugh at me. She even gave me some very helpful lessons.

You know, I have no idea. I'd love to find out, she was pretty cute as I remember. ^_^

Lalala Jan 17, 2007 03:03 PM

Does kindergarten count? Haha I guess that is nothing because it wasn't serious just a peck on the lips. Anyways my first SERIOUS kiss was horrible. It was kind of embarrassing because we were leaving and I kissed him on his cheek, then he grabs me, says "Come here" and puts his tongue on my lips. I was like "What are you doing?". "French Kissing you". "But what if my breath stinks?". "I don't care". Then commence the nasty, sloppy tongue sucking kiss which was horrible. Ugh

BTW my first kiss was in Middle School.

...did YOU turn out to be a lesbian, then?

Also, Lalala- yeah, the second girl I kissed basically tried to suffocate me with her tongue. It was scary and weird. I knew how to french kiss by then, and whatever she was doing was definitely not french kissing.

Nope, bisexual. And -shudders- I know what you mean about the tongue choking thing ><

Ayos Jan 17, 2007 03:44 PM

I cannot make any further comment one way or another, lest I be called creepy. So, uh... here's an ambiguous one. Congratulations on your bisexuality. And I'm sorry you got tongue-choked. THE END!

lol, congratulations, disaster averted!

I was thirteen when I had my first kiss. He had a cold. Let's just say it could've been a bit more romantic .__. Considering we went out for longer than a year I suppose it works out okay but still ;__;

Temari Jan 17, 2007 09:31 PM

I was 16. It was after prom with this guy that I had a crush on... now that I think about it, it was kinda pathetic. The guy had asked my best friend to the prom, and she had intially said yes, but then she found a boyfriend, and passed him off to me. After prom the the four of us (my date, my best friend, her boyfriend, and myself) were in her basement living room watching a movie, and he didnt give me any place to sit that didnt involved spooning with him, so after the movie ended, we just stayed like that. Then he turned my head towards him and kissed me. Fireworks went off in my head.

Of course, now that I look back on it, I realize he was just a sex-craving punk who dressed badly and designed his hair like Jonny the Homicidal Maniac... and I was too tense for anything else to happen besides that one kiss, so, it all turned out for the better. :)

RABicle Jan 18, 2007 11:13 AM

I'd been avoiding this topic but it's 1am and I'm avoiding sleep and work so...
Well first off. lolling so hard at some of you guys. Maybe I'm jsut not into taking such milestones in but I dont think I've anlysed every detail like some of you have.

Well let's see. First kiss was proabbly onne of those hilarious spin the bottle games when I was 13 or 14 or something (hay guys three times same person you gotta pash with tongue lol!)

First real kiss, that was worthwhile was proabbly when I was.. er. 16 i think. The summer before I went into year eleven so I was 15 I guess. Fuck I'm not even sure, might've been the summer of 02/03. Anyway it was a whirlwind romance at some kinda summer camp at a uni thing. Her name was Sami, she was really hot, probably the best looking girl I've ever been with, which is a problem for your first kiss cos it's hard to lower your standards and I really should with my skills with girls.

Where was I oh yeah we hooked up. Then I got sick of her. We hooked up again about two (or one?) years later on Leavers week.

Sepharite Jan 21, 2007 01:31 AM

Heh, I'm pathetic. My first kiss was last year when I was 17, with my first girlfriend. I could have kissed her earlier, however... we were cuddling together, and we were staring into eachother's eyes - cliche, I know, stfu. We stare, and then I suddenly look away, for some odd reason. And she pretend to reach over to her and she just pecks me - not sure if that counted as a first kiss since I never kissed back.

But a few days later, it was raining. We were bored. We ran out together, holding hands... and I just kissed her. She murmered "Stick out your tongue" and I ended up biting hers instead. Good times.

But I don't know, I didn't feel anything. And since then, I've been reluctant to kiss - even with my other ex. Bleh.

Leonheart Feb 7, 2007 08:15 AM

My first kiss was when I was 15 and I was standing outside after a party (fancy dress) and a girl whos costume was a mystery to everyone but me was there too and 2 other people and I was just talking and I knew she liked me so almost mid sentance I just leaned forward put my hand on her neck and gave her a slow deep kiss and btw she had no idea it was my first kiss!! I saw her at school a few days later and I was quite mean cause I payed her no attention but were good friends now.

Ballpark Frank Feb 7, 2007 12:57 PM

Little Miss Muffet sat on her tuffet,
cuddling under the cover of sheets.
Her mom, up front steering,
would have a hard time believing,
our lips were locked, and in heat!

I don't know what was playing,
but I remember her saying,
"You don't do this very often, do you?"

Desmond Feb 7, 2007 04:41 PM

My first kiss was when I was 17 and on a trip to London with my college class, there was one guy I'd been crushing on for a while but was too shy to tell. We all had lots of alcohol and were having a party in our room and it was about 3am and he came over and just forced himself on me, was kind of gross and so embarrassing as everyone was watching.

My first romantic kiss was a couple of weeks before Christmas last year, it was raining and my boyfriend had just taken me out for a meal and it was so nice because we were hugging cause it was also cold as well as wet and we just looked into each others eyes and kissed and it was amazing.

Ceres Feb 7, 2007 07:31 PM

It was a couple weeks before I turned 17. I had finally gotten up the nerve to ask out some guy I had an open with (yeah supposed to be the other way around but so what). We didn't really kiss for like a week...then we finally did after school one day. It started out as a few pecks, then a bunch of pecks, to open mouth, then I got surprised by a tounge and yeah...good times

Cosmos V Feb 7, 2007 09:06 PM

This is a sweet topic!

I remember my first kiss very well. I was 16 years old and it was with my first girlfriend, and it happened to the song "Tears" by X-Japan, one of my all-time favorite songs. Ah, good times.

JackTheRipper Feb 7, 2007 10:10 PM

I was 14, and at sleep away camp. Me and my niggaz snuck out to meet up with our hoes, and well, shit happened. Me and this really hot girl ended up hooking up on the hockey rink. Yeah, I'm a badass... and a jew.

Never kissed, never dated. I'm almost 21 and still no one who holds my interest has come along. I not gay or anything its just i can't bring myself to care that much about having a girlfriend when i see all the dumb drama from my friends girl friends. Not to float my own boat, but im actually pretty good looking too ;) Oh well, it'll happen someday hopefully.

Smart move, very smart. :)

As for myself, my first kiss ever was when I was 12. IT WAS NOT ROMANTIC AT ALL, /WRIST. :( It was with a guy I had a huge crush on for what felt like eons and still I didn't feel anything special; probably because I hadn't hit puberty at that point and what I felt was just a wet sucking sensation. :tpg:

However, my first kiss with the guy I'm with now... electrifying, is all I could say. I couldn't stop shaking for hours and the goosebumps were still there the morning after.

Meth Feb 8, 2007 03:27 AM

I kissed a lot of girls in elementary school, but obviously never in the context of a date or anything. The first one on a date was with a one handed girl during Titanic of all things. (I know, fucking stupidly cliche, but whatever.) We dated for a few months, but I broke up with her for lying about a bunch of stuff. She later went on to drop out of high school and become a stripper. Yet we're still good friends to this day.

I think most girls, by default, think that they're better kissers than guys, but from my experience, I've found this to be untrue.

Kissing new ladies is awesome. The newness sorta "sticks" in a weird way, and you can feel it linger for awhile. Another thing that's awesome is the "chin lift." A properly executed chin lift can somehow cause a girl's feet to leave the ground for the druation of the kiss.

No. Hard Pass. Feb 8, 2007 04:38 AM

I would have been in grade 8, I guess. I'd done the whole playful kissing thing before that (I figured out the whole girls kiss the boys thing was nothing to run from, and had a secret expectation that the boys who ran away in earnest were raging gays), but grade 8 was the first time I really kissed someone. There was this girl who's family moved here from Osaka when she like, 3 or something, and she grew up around here and I'd known her on and off--which usually happened, cause every couple years my family moved me somewhere else--and when grade 8 rolled around, I'd come back to Regina for a year or two after being in Ireland. All of a sudden this little asian girl I hung out with and who played road hockey (she was a wicked goaltender, as I recall) alongside had gotten hot, popular and boobs... well, sort of on the last one. Enough to catch my attention as a grade 8, anyway. At any rate, some girl tossed a party when her parents were out of town, so of course everyone starts playing spin the bottle at some point.

I walk into the party late, because I had to wait for my mom to fall asleep before I snuck out, and walk in the door. Asian girl runs up and hugs me, which is cool, because like I said: she grew up nicely. Anyway, about thirty seconds later, I'm grabbing a drink out of the fridge and asian girl runs up to me and puts the bottle on the counter, pointing directly at me. Next thing I know, she grabs my wrist and pulls me into (this is the classy bit) the adjoining laundry room, shuts the door, and I proceeded to take her to Jimmy's Kissing School (props on that, Alice. Quality.) for about 2 hours. My first time kissing a girl was also my first time having my fingers inside of a girl. It was a good day.

As a nice little end point to that story, I hooked up with the girl at a party at the end of highschool, after we randomly just wound up at the same kegger. Well, she told me I was her first kiss, too (damned forward girl for a first timer. I assumed she was a pro at the time.) and that she was leaving for England three weeks after grad to go to school at the LSE. So later that night, she's standing on the patio, and I walked up behind her and took her just emptied drink out of her hand, set the bottle on the little plastic table every patio in canada has, spun it and stopped it while it was pointing at her. She just smiled and offered her hand and I took her wrist and pulled her into the bedroom. Skipping the important bits, I became another first for her and we dated until she left for England; about 6 months. After that, well... things got unfortunate. We split up before she leaves, because it just isn't feasable for us to be together. But in my first year after high school--as I was avoiding university--I went out to England and backpacked around for a while. I'd gotten her address from her parents, and so I got the number and rang her up when I was in London. She invites me over for drinks, so I go to her residence and we chat all night, and wind up making out on her balcony. I go back to see her the next day, and her roommate tells me she's gone over to her fiancee's house, and she'll tell her I stopped by. Last I heard from her, she sent me an e-mail about three months later telling me she was sorry about what happened on her balcony, and that I was then, and always was, a bad idea, and that she never should have kissed me back in grade 8 because it lead to all sorts of trouble for her. Apparently she'd told the fiancee that she had never even been with another guy. In any fashion. Ever. And the roommate told him about me stopping by, and about our history (which I'd told the roommate, not knowing it was a secret) and he'd flipped the fuck out, called off the engagement and it was all my fault. Nevermind that she'd fucked several guys after me, lied to her fiancee, and made out with me without telling me she was seeing anyone, nevermind engaged.

So, what's the moral kids? Don't enroll asian girls to Jimmy's Kissing School in grade 8, because when their fiancee calls off their engagement because she's a lying bitch, she'll blame you for it and all of your mutual friends will think you're an asshole even though you didn't do anything wrong.

I have incredibly fond memories of her, but they're sort of dashed against the rocks at this point, yeah.

My first kiss is with one of my best guy friends around 7th and 8th grade (apparently they were fighting over me, didn't find out until one broke out the truth haha) it was after summer school and one of them offered to walk me home. I lived PRETTY FAR from school so I opt to hang out at a near by parlk (right across the street)
I was sitting on bench and he said "I like you more then a friend" and kissed me. It's more like an awww moment for me.

We went out for only 4 months but we're still good friends. I love the guy, he looks like an asian Tom Cruise, but with the softest bestest hair. I don't know how he gets that kind of hair just by washing with regular shampoo.

munchkin13 Feb 24, 2007 01:45 PM

My first kiss was a Friday night in Summer when I was in year nine. It was with a boy I met on Holiday called Kyle. Didn't rock my world, but was good. No slobber or excessive tongue action.

tenseiken Feb 24, 2007 02:48 PM

I don't know if it's my first one, but it's the first one I can recall. I got a job at a grocery store when I turned 16 to pay for my car. There was only one other person working there even close to my age--a cute blonde girl. After about a week of this and that, I ended up giving her a ride home (there was something wrong with her car--I don't recall what anymore) and we, uh, did various things for about an hour and a half in my car.

I found out later, of course, that she had a boyfriend. As I recall, that guy was a real piece of work. Abusive, yet adorable--you know the type. Anyway, it was on and off with her for a while. She ended up breaking up with the piece of work at one point and then glossed over me for some other guy. Apparently, it's okay to cheat on your boyfriend with an atheist and go crying to an atheist for moral support when your boyfriend beats you up, but you can't actually have an atheist for a boyfriend.

Last I heard, she married 'some other guy' with the intention of doing missionary work (converting heathens, not the other thing) overseas with him. Knowing her, they're probably in a trailer park with 3 or 4 kids by now. I can sure pick 'em. :p

FloodSim Mar 2, 2007 07:31 AM

Ok this is an interesting little story, not a proper first kiss, but technically it was my first in a cute/innocent way.

I would've been no more than 5 years old at the time, holidaying at my nana/grandmothers house. Just around the corner from my nanas house lived a friend of hers who strangely enough had a granddaughter around the same age as me. It was through them that i met Natalie, a pretty little girl as i remember her. Natalie and I would often play together whenever she was visiting her grandma, either i'd go to her place or she'd come to mine.

I dont remember specifics about our relationship but i quite clearly remember the times we went 'sleeping'. At the time my nana had like a high set bed that i could easily crawl under. 'Sleeping', as we called it, involved Natalie and i crawling under the bed, laying next to each other with our eyes closed, and randomly giving each other a peck on the cheek, or occasionally the lips :oo

This is the only memory i have of her and i guess we just drifted apart which was easy being so young and me living 2 hours away from my nanas place. This would've been at least 18 years ago and i probably wouldn't even recognize her today.

aznanimedude May 9, 2007 10:44 AM

i was watching rign over me with my gf
we were hold in hands n stuff, n being all intimate
then i went to grab some popcorn, but i had to look for it, so i looked over, she was lookin at me n went *smooch* XD

DragoonKain May 9, 2007 11:55 PM

I was 12 or 13 and I really liked my friend's sister. She was my age, but for a 12/13 year old she had a huge rack on her at the time. My friends told me she really liked me, and I thought she was really pretty so I tried to be around her a lot. Anyway, it sounds kinda awkward, but we were sitting on my friend's porch talking and she asked me if I wanted to make out with her and I said yes. Then we did and did for like 2 months straight every day until she moved away and got pregnant at 15.

She was really hot though.

nadienne May 10, 2007 01:22 AM

I guess technically my first kiss was in first grade. His name was Frankie and he was in second. I don't remember much besides that we used to peck on the mouth, which was a huge no-no at the time. My mother would have freaked. We were "together" until I moved to California at the end of first grade. I think he gave me a doll as a going away present.

My first proper kiss was when I was 14, which, oddly enough, almost exactly 8 years ago--it was my sister's birthday party and her birthday's today. Anyway, it was my first "boyfriend," Zach, although by the time we kissed we'd been "broken up" for a year. We were watching a movie in my room and ended up kissing. The door was open because my parents never trusted any boy's intentions, and every time my sister or one of her screaming friends came down the hallway, we jumped apart.

It was sweet, actually. It wasn't terribly awkward and there was no tongue, so I wasn't traumatized like Alice.

Midna May 10, 2007 02:53 AM

I had an attempted first kiss in 4th grade. The boy was Brent and we had summer camp together. We were in the swimming pool, several feet apart, and decided we'd go under water, swim toward each other and kiss under water. I think the idea was to avoid getting in trouble by getting caught, but at the same time get away with kissing in the pool. We counted to 3, went under and swam toward each other...but missed.

My first actual kiss was in 8th grade. I had moved away, but came back to my home town to visit. I met up with my best friend and we went to meet some of her new friends, including her boyfriend. Her boyfriend's best friend Tim was there, and the four of us spent the day together along with some other people.

That same evening we all went to some cafe-ish place to hang out, and Tim asked me if I wanted to go for a walk. I said okay, and we ended up on the roof of a building where he sort of pushed me up against a wall and kissed me. It ended up in a full make out session, and me having to keep pulling his hands out of my shirt and pants, until finally there was a car accident right below us and the noise stopped him momentarily. That's when I said we should be getting back to our friends.

The End.

Alice May 10, 2007 04:45 AM

Midna, that's pretty hot. Except for the car accident part.

Midna May 10, 2007 05:22 AM

Yeah, although I was grateful for the car accident. I was only 14, he was 17, and I was getting in over my head.

SonicEchidna May 10, 2007 06:26 AM

Memories....my first kiss was when I was in year 9 at high school (so I'd say I was about 14), and I had just started going out with a girl. It was lunchtime and we were sat on a bench talking about stuff, just trying to get to know each other better. I remember being nervous as hell, and she seemed really confident about it all.

Then the bell rang for the end of lunch, and she leaned over and kissed me and told me she'd see me later.

I remember it took a few hours for the smile to disappear from my face. We went on to date for two years. Pretty good for a first relationship I think.

ComradeTande May 10, 2007 09:33 AM

i was 16, and my best guy friend at the time (we had dated previously, with just hugs and stuff, cuz i was damn prude) were just watching a movie (i think it was a foreign flick, most likely japanese horror flick of some sort...) and we were eating jelly bellies (sour flavor!) and halfway through the movie it just...happened xD bam. make out session. we ended up dating for like, 6 months and then broke up, and now we are back together (again! well, sorta) and its sort of like that "hey, you were my first love, let's fuck" kinda thing. :P

although inproper, just a sort of peck kind of kiss: happened when i was like 15, (same guy lol), we were at school and just staring at eachother and then all he says "you know, you staring at me like that, i just wanna kiss you or something." and so i just leaned over and we pecked on the lips :P super cute.

Smelnick May 10, 2007 09:35 AM

My first kiss was pretty funny. When I started going out with my now exgirlfriend was when it happened. We were sitting in her van, just sort of hanging out. And we both looked at each other, and then she leaned over and I leaned in and we started kissing. We made out of a minute. When we seperated from the kiss, I made a really lame joke along the lines of "Awesome, good thing we both brushed our teeth" and then we continued making out for the next hour. I'd never kissed a girl before let alone made out. So it was pretty awesome.

Brent! It's Yooouuu!

No worries, I underestimated how much air I needed to pull this off and was running out by the time I swam over anyway. If it had been successful I'd have probably blown a swarm of bubbles up your nose.

Nahual May 11, 2007 03:46 AM

This is how my first kiss happened!

I remember it well.
I was 14 at the time.
It was lunch time.
Instead of eating, I chose to do homework.

Next thing I know a beast runs up to me and gives me a kiss on the cheek(and subjects me to other forms of abuse).
I was pretty shocked and angry because my older sister was watching and laughing at me the whole time.

That girl was a freak.
She'd bother me in class and say things like, "chupa mis chichis."

She wasn't attractive at all...

Well, do you want the long version complete with LOLs or the short version that's LOL-less?

Fuck it, you get the long version, I waited a minute!

So, I'm a Freshman in High School, this Senior was like "Want to walk me home?"
Note: At this age I was young and naive and wasn't even thinking about girls like that. (Believe it or not!) What was going through my head was essentially "Cool, an adventure!" and "Another friend could always help". Besides, it's not like I had anything else to do that day, other than my homework.

So, I walk this girl home, and we start talking on her porch and shit. She's all "Care to come in, you'll have to leave soon though, my parents will be home."
Note: I'm thinking nothing of this at the time, I'm still thinking "A friend is a friend." and "I have nothing better to do."

So, we go inside she sits on the couch I sit on one of the chairs adjacent to her. We talk some more and then she tells me her parents will be home soon. So, she gives me a hug.
Note: This is the first time I had ever really been alone with a girl, let alone my first hug. Up to this point, I was listening to guys talk about blowjobs, sex, and naked girls like it was the best thing in the world. Like, earth shattering.

As she's hugging me she proceeds to start making out with me (my first kiss wasn't even a peck on the lips, it was full out disgusting "Try and hit your tonsils with my tongue or at least make you gag" makeout session) She proceeds to then take off her clothes and I accidentally let slip "That's it?"
Note: I was expecting fireworks or something here, guys.

She was all "What did you say?" I'm all "Uhhh... nothing." She then takes off my clothes and starts sucking my dick. Her parents come home. She's all, "You gotta go" and I'm all "I need to put on my clothes, damnit!" She forces me out of her house, NAKED, thankfully out the back door. So I had to hop a few chain link fences with my fucking clothes and shoes in my hands and then get dressed.

All in the surburban area NEAR the High School itself at around 4:30PM.

I'm still glad no one saw me, or so I think...

Oh yeah... I didn't even get a chance to cum! :(

I'm 26 and haven't kissed a girl, nor had a girlfriend. Maybe, my head is screwed, but I haven't been interested--i.e All my friends went to their Senior Prom in HS, and what did I do (some girl offered, too)? Play Starcraft...

I probably screwed myself over....I hope I'm not gay....

Winter Storm May 13, 2007 07:25 AM

~_~ being alone wont lead to a change in sexual preference. I haven't dated..well 16 isn't really dating, but I've been without a girl for almost 7 years. Still love women more than ever obviously. You just have not met a girl yet that has sparked your interest.

Yeah, and it was pretty good advice. What fucked Anakin was that he started so late in his training and was exposed to a non Jedi way of growing up until he was nine. Which is really what fucked him in the end.

Uh, it was pretty awful and I'd take it back if I could.

I dated one guy for a month and it was completely lacking in romantic feelings. Well, it felt like I was just hanging out with a guy I had a crush on for a month. And participating in sexual activities once in a while. But we never kissed at all.

Then I told this other guy about that and he was all omg that I hadn't kissed anyone. So during our first date he freaking jumped me and took my first before I could really figure out what was going on. I guess you have to learn some time.

No no, embarassing is attempting to have extremely awkward gay sex and being unable to actually get it in there. It could always be worse.

map car man words telling me to do things May 14, 2007 08:45 AM

Speaking of embarrassing, I'm slightly ashamed to admit I've only once properly kissed a girl and even that was during a game of spin the bottle.

It was very, very late at night and everyone was sleepy as hell. I was lying on my back on the floor away from everyone else, half out of the game and suddenly the girl (a very good friend of mine) was hovering over me and called my name with a light joking tone. Someone turned out the light and then she was kissing me.

As I'd never tongued anyone before much less had anyone tongue me before, I couldn't tell whether I did terribly or not, but it was a very pleasant experience for me all in all, and one of my favorite memories from my school years. I did get a little carried away as I managed to accidentally bite her tongue lightly, not that she seemed terribly upset. It was just another extra to the embarrasment.

Malahk Angel May 15, 2007 01:14 AM

I remember being 6 years old when I had my first kiss.

There was this fad going around the day-care center I was at of everyone starting to "date". It was nifty at best. None of us really knew what the point was, we just sort of gravitated to the first girl we noticed and went from there.

In retrospect it was pretty lame, but I remember my first kiss being with a girl named Krystal. She was a pretty cool girl, kind of shunned because she was a nerd (but so was I, probably why we got on so well), and out of nowhere on the playground one day she asked me to be her boyfriend. I of course said yes, and we sat down under the jungle gym and kissed.

It wasn't like passionate or anything, but it was nice. It remains one of my fondest memories. Unfortunately, both of our parents found out and barred us from seeing each other. Her parents even went as far as pulling her out of the day-care center.

Soon after, I moved to New Hampshire. I haven't seen or heard from her since. Kind of sad, really.

I'm fairly certain they did it because it was me. I was impossibly shy and reserved back then. I could laugh it up with a lot of people, but whenever it came to anything like that, I tended to chicken out. It was a little vacation cabin, we were upstairs and the only light was this little flashlight we kept between the window. So it wasn't quite the same as someone going over to a lightswitch.

As for getting kissed more than once, most of the dares didn't involve kissing, I suppose and if they did, they didn't involve me. Usually it was just kisses on the cheek.

Most people would laugh at you for it, but there really is nothing wrong with it per se. You get one when you get one. No rush or hurry. If you are getting overly horny then it might be time to do something about it, but if you are fine the way you are then no big deal.

Such a Lust for Revenge! May 16, 2007 06:32 PM

I guess not having a relationship at that age isn't a problem unless you feel you're missing out on something. Other than that I guess (if you want a kid in the first place) being a father at a decent age could play a factor on that sort of stress.

This is the biggest load of bullshit I've read all day. It's a kiss. It's not like you're talking about something serious. Kiss everyone. Kiss someone. Fuck, just make a connection with someone. If you do one thing with your day, make it a point to do the opposite of whatever jaw advises.

Paco Jul 5, 2007 04:52 PM

Man... I can't believe I didn't see this thread months ago. My first kiss was a girl named Carla my freshman year in high school. I had asked her out to a movie and I borrowed my dad's car to go pick her up. Being Mexican, I didn't feel I needed a license so we went to the movie, we went to this place called Mearle's Drive In (a Visalia landmark that's been closed for a few years) and we ended up going to this place called Rocky Hill, which is a popular spot for high school kids with cars and condoms.

We didn't stay in the car, we sat on the hood and talked for a while with our milkshakes in hand. Then when I finished mine, I grabbed some gum out of my pocket and she asked, "OOooh. Can I have some gum too?" I said, "Sure." I put the stick of gum in my mouth with half of it hanging out and when I was grabbing another stick to give to her she grabbed my chin with her fingers, positioned my face in front of hers and wrestled that stick of gum out of my mouth with her tongue...

She kept the gum and I kept the memory. Great trade. To this day, I still use that gum technique if I'm gonna con some girl into making out with me and it works wonders EVERY TIME.

Luminaire Jul 6, 2007 08:27 AM

I was sort of a late-bloomer, and didn't get my first kiss until I was sixteen. I was painfully shy in high school and the prospects weren't the best, but this guy and I had been flirting on-and-off for months. Being such a wallflower, the prospect that somebody would be interested in me totally freaked me out. One day he and I were playing Super Smash Brothers Melee and he said if he beat me, I'd have to kiss him.

I was so anxious about it that I won every. Single. Round.

He got me a week later, though. We were tooling around in his room when I flopped down on his bed and he just kinda descended over me and smooch. It literally made a smooch noise when we parted, so tactful me burst into a fit of nervous laughter. He was pretty good-natured though so he just shut me up by kissing me again.

Ah, to be young again.

Sceptre X Jul 6, 2007 05:35 PM

Damn, the post is over. It was just getting good...I am so e-mailing this link.

I really enjoyed this. :D Much less to the fact that I haven't had mine yet either. I don't know if I'm ugly or what...maybe it's my "big" lips or whatever.

kinkymagic Jul 6, 2007 06:39 PM

That's kind of weird, right?

Celes Chere Jul 6, 2007 08:43 PM

My first kiss was with a guy I 'dated' for not even 2 weeks when I was 18. It was pretty terrible. He tried his best to get his tongue down my throat and had the nerve to tell me to close my mouth. I kind of couldn't with what he was doing!

Since then, I've kissed 2 more guys, and both times were much better than the first. I still think I'm no good at it though.

Such a Lust for Revenge! Jul 6, 2007 08:46 PM

You should incorporate a lot of nibbling and light lower (or upper) lip sucking. Seems to get good reactions. =o

Dark Chocolate Jul 16, 2007 10:32 PM

I tempted my boyfriend in the movie theaters and after the movie we got into my car. I was pretty caught in the moment but in shock at the same time that it wasn't just a "peck" anymore. But I enjoyed it. Still do :D

doldrums Jul 17, 2007 02:11 PM

My first kiss was when i was 17. It was w/ my first boyfriend and we had already been together for a few months. I lagged it w/ him b/c i would get too nervous to do it but then his best friend told me how he had been wanting to kiss me for the longest :P so i build up some courage to one day while he was walking me home from school ^^ um unfortunately i didn't really like it to be honest. I wish he had done it a little slower but i just felt his tongue all crazy in my mouth XP he also had a bigger mouth/lips than me so he left my mouth all wet and i had this gross feeling about saliva XP

blue Jul 17, 2007 05:09 PM

This thread is sort of spinning all these questions in my head, mostly because the stories are so polarized:

Either you had that very awkward, very short first kiss (peck on the lips type thing) or
You were like "holy cow, PLEASURE" and went to like 3rd base. Very dichotomous, if you ask me!

So... what's the preference here? I would kind of imagine that having a hardcore first kiss might be sort of traumatizing; are small, awkward first kisses generally considered better first memories?

You know, there's something slightly tragic about this thread, because... I dunno. They're sort of like a bunch of little stories about the beginning of the end, or the end of the beginning.

neus Jul 17, 2007 08:00 PM

Never been kissed.
I suppose I ought to feel anxious or somewhat ashamed to admit that, but in reality it's neither. I have a strange sense of apathy about the whole thing.

That's the wrong word for it, though. Apathy implies like I've given up on the entire thing -- immature, ugly, socially inept -- which just isn't true. I've grown up a lot recently and I've made some choices that took a lot of mental strength. And I'm not half bad looking neither. I've recently lost weight and gained muscle strength, and while my face is somewhat plain, it does have a handsomeness about it. I'm quite comfortable with myself.
I'll admit I'm not a very social person, but I've taken a lot of steps in the last year to fix that. I've started hanging out with people and just generally working on being a social creature. It feels great and I've made a ton of progress. I don't feel anxious around people anymore. I can make conversation pretty easily and I'm just relaxed and more myself.

But "un-interested" is a wrong word for it too -- I know for certain I'm not gay and girls do turn me on.

I've just give up on feeling pressured about the whole thing. I'm quite content to wait for my girl and I know when I find her, I'll do all manner of dirty things with her. I suppose she'll have more experience but a silly thing like that won't botch my confidence.

I'm just figuring out who I am. I don't want to do something half-assed with a girl. When I enter a relationship, I want to be (as cheesy as this sounds) like Atticus from the black and white version of To Kill A Mockingbird - a man. Not a boy.

Roph Jul 17, 2007 11:48 PM

My first kiss was a tiny peck on the lips, on my 16th birthday. This girl I knew basically came up to me and asked me if she could give me it, and I was like uh, ok, sure =o.

I'd never kissed any girl before that because I was just so damn shy. I'd been in situations where it was so obvious I was supposed to give the girl a kiss but I just couldn't :(. Either way, that tiny peck basically got me started. Within not long I was going for it :tpg:. I got self conscious when a friend of mine saw me making out with someone and said I was eating her face, but when I asked the girl she said she loved how I kissed, so.

Striat Cougar Jul 19, 2007 09:44 PM

I've witnessed a bunch of first kisses...

..Does that count?

First a bit of a story. I dated a girl online for about a year. We decided it was time to meet irl. I took a bus across the US. It was about 1 AM, I was sitting outside McDonalds in the freezing rain in Corvallis, Oregon. She walked around the corner and we ran to meet each other, after a long hug I gave her a peck on the cheek. The next morning we were sitting on the couch talking about stuff, and one thing led to another, and we started making out. It was March, 2005.

My first kiss was beautiful. (There was tongue.) It filled my heart with happiness and my pants suddenly became quite uncomfortable and less than spacious. The moment was short and sweet. Though, I thought to myself hmm, "When am I supposed to stop?" When I was that close, I also had this urge to not close my eyes, which was awkward. Two people looking into each others eyes when they are 2 inches apart is a bit unnerving when you aren't used to it.

Like that first bowl of weed, or the first time I heard Bartok, my first kiss was easily the most memorable and endearing.

Well, it was with a close friend. >_> Altho we're keeping the relationship at platonic friendship levels as BFness is too scary for us at the moment. <_<

Haven't had my first kiss yet. Maybe this will change at some point, hopefully in the school year to come. It's not really that big of a big deal, I think. As long as I haven't gone my entire life without being kissed and experiencing reciprocated love from a female, I'm probably okay. I'm slightly afraid my first kiss will be large dimensions of fail due to lack of first-hand knowledge, but really, doesn't matter. Yeah.

It'll happen, when the right opportunity is made. Not gonna dwell on it any longer.

My first kiss was cliché as hell.

I wish I'd thought to do something interesting, or at least go somewhere interesting. Then again, said kiss was exchanged with a boy who was boring as hell.

It worked for me when I was 16, if that makes sense. I was a completely different person when I was 16 (no, really--not just in terms of having matured 5 years since then).

I wonder what the weirdest 1st kiss ever was like? A roadkill-scraping duo on the highway? Falling off a bridge? I need some creativity in my life.

In the bathroom hall of a bowling alley with the smell of weed emanating from the girls bathroom?

Sorry. That was the oddest one I'd ever heard aboutlolol

My first romantic kiss was kinda impulsive. I'd met this guy half an hour before and kinda liked him in a friendly way... but it had been a very lonely few weeks in a new town where I didn't know anyone. So as we were saying goodbye outside a restaurant I just grabbed his jacket and kissed him for all I was worth.

It was awesome. We're still friends. Although he likes to tell my boyfriends that story whenever he mets them. *sigh*

I remember in High School the big thing was kissing (it's probably sex now with the way things have changed, oh i'm so old), so while my friends were quite casual about who they kissed I always told myself i'd save it for that special someone. Well, cut to a good 5 years after that and I just didn't really care where or how it happened, as long as I felt some sort of spark i'd go for it. So my first kiss was in a night club, classy no? But I already knew the guy from Photography class, and he was very very attractive so when the moment came I just gave in. It's funny because I always panicked about what to do, how it works and all that - but it was the most natural thing. It was a pretty hot first kiss I must say, and we continued to randomly make out during the evening. Huzzah!
