The weather sucks at my place

How about the Weather at your place?

I kinda think that Europe will drown in Snow if it keeps snowing like this... I mean come on its mid March

gtfo winter

Relic Mar 11, 2006 07:30 AM

It's in the 50's here, and the high temperature today is supposed to be over 60 degrees. ^^

Shame about the massive hailstorms that are supposed to hit tonight. ;_;

stupid midwestern weather.

Fleshy Fun-Bridge Mar 11, 2006 07:46 AM

High of 65°F, partly cloudy with a 40% chance of showers later on in the night. Its about time winter got the hell outta dodge here--though we didn't see much in terms of snowfall this season. One or two storms and that was it.

PiccoloNamek Mar 11, 2006 08:13 AM

Temps are already in the 70's here, and it makes me very sad. There wasn't a winter at all. The squirrels never even hibernated, not even for a little while. They were out all year long. That's not right, is it?

Thanatos Mar 11, 2006 08:21 AM

Bleh. Sucky weather is everywhere, few days ago, there was a sudden gust of wind that uprooted trees and stuff. Totally unexplained, and sucky. Caused a massive traffic lockdown in my area.

Snowknight Mar 11, 2006 08:41 AM

It's actually become nicer outside in recent weeks here; spring is definitely on its way here. (That is, I've actually been able to go places in shorts and short sleeves.)
Of course, I kind of miss winter already; I know that the hot temperatures are also on their way.

Dopefish Mar 11, 2006 09:28 AM

Yesterday here in Portsmouth, NH we cracked 60F for the first time all year. Today and the next few days we'll hang around in the 50s before sinking back to the 40s.

ComCrimson Mar 11, 2006 09:32 AM

It's just damn cold here. I've given up on any snow, bring on the sun! the maximum temperatures we're having are like 10 odd degress. It's stupid

kapsi Mar 11, 2006 09:42 AM

The winter goes on for almost 4 months now and I just want it to end...

knkwzrd Mar 11, 2006 09:49 AM

I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The high is about 2 degrees Celcius, we have a meter and a half of snow on the curb, and the forcast for today is a mixture of snow and freezing rain. Welcome to March.

Locke Mar 11, 2006 09:54 AM

I heard that it's benificial to drive fast and not use your brakes during freezing rain... :P It's fun at least, lol.

Thanatos Mar 11, 2006 10:00 AM

My country doesn't have 4 seasons, as such we are victims of the torrential winds. HAHA. in these periods, it'll rain so badly that floods are not very much a surprise.

Syndrome Mar 11, 2006 10:52 AM

Well, the sun is shining and the sky is clear blue. You could think it's summer, but it's around -9C and there's snow on the ground :(

Neo-Zacar Mar 11, 2006 10:54 AM

-5 Celsius here, it's a warm winter.

Half of the GFF-world is using F and the other half is using C, that's a bit confusing..

What a topic, btw, humans can talk about weather forever >_>

xSummonerYUnax Mar 11, 2006 11:18 AM

The temperature was in the 20's a week ago but now it's in the 60's with the sun beaming in. =D

I know =/ It's 50s here, but same general idea. I miss winter, it's my favorite season. All nice and cold and snowy. Although I do certainly like seeing squirrels because squirrels rock, although I don't know what kind of effect not hibernating has on the little guys.

Chaotic Mar 11, 2006 11:53 AM

Gonna get to a high of 64 degrees today. Then pelt rain down on us later tonight.

At least it's warm. I like warm. :)

Sarmoti Mar 11, 2006 11:58 AM

'bout 75-79 degrees and as sunny as can be.

Normally I would rub in the fact that I live somewhere that is constantly warm and never rains, but today is the first day in half a year with more than a trace of rain. Talk about sucks :(

Godai Mar 11, 2006 12:30 PM

It's a nice sunny Saturday, for this time of year, in Toronto. It's 7 C / 45 F.

Wojo Mar 11, 2006 12:31 PM

Here in PA its about 65 degrees Fahrenheit for a change. It's going to be like this the whole weekend but Tuesday it goes back to 33 and snow :(

doyeon Mar 11, 2006 12:40 PM

right now its 48 at LAX. im chillin here at hollidaae innn. free internet! anyways it needs to stop raining

J-Man Mar 11, 2006 01:10 PM

It snowed last night here on Vancouver Island. In March. We hardly ever get snow where I live, close to the ocean. And never in March. WTF?! Winter sucks ass. Temperature wise, its about 5 degrees celcius, but it should get up to about 8 or 9 by today. No chance of rain....or more goddamn snow.

Rydia Mar 11, 2006 01:12 PM

It's been cold and sometimes there's rain. The weather basically alternates between cold rainy days and cold sunny days. It's not too bad, but very unpredictable.

Yep, I would say that is pretty accurate. Snowing pretty good out there right now. In my hometown(about 3.5 hours from Winnipeg), its warm enough for rain. March is soooo messy.

Fjordor Mar 11, 2006 03:15 PM

The spring thaw has rolled over east Michigan.
We even have the windows open cuz it is so warm.
This is actually awfully unusual for this time of year. Usually, we will have thick snow on the ground until like the last week of march.

I guess Europe stole our cold weather.

Mr. Danielsard Mar 11, 2006 03:23 PM

weather in my area sucks... we didnt have a winter... our lowest was 38 one single december night... it feels summer already and its march :(

Rin Mar 11, 2006 04:06 PM

Well, I think most Brits must be fed up of the cold, bitter weather by now (such as the two others in this thread!). It seems like winter just doesn't want to go. I wish it would get warmer outside.

splur Mar 11, 2006 05:19 PM

Snow is much better than freezing rain/sleet. But it's getting warmer now, the temp still takes dips below zero, but I don't mind the mild temperatures. When the mud/slush/huge impassable puddles disappear, I'll be happy.

JackTheRipper Mar 11, 2006 05:21 PM

It's been in the 60's for the past two days. I've been outside all day and now I have a mean sunburn, but the weather is beautiful.

Acro-nym Mar 11, 2006 05:37 PM

It's a cool day outside with it raining off and on, although it hasn't rained in a few hours. The sun is out, the trees are blossoming, and it's comfortable to wear shorts. All in all, I'd say that's a pretty good day weather-wise.

timid geek Mar 11, 2006 05:41 PM

The weather here is in the mid seventies. However, it's suppose to do a twenty degree drop in highes by monday.

I can't say i'm not enjoying this warm weather, but i'm worried this summer is going to be unbearably hot.

Angel Mar 11, 2006 07:32 PM

Today it's still been snowing... I haven't seen as much snow in my life as this winter :(

Synthesis Mar 12, 2006 01:57 AM

It already getting pretty warm where I live. Had one of the most abnomally warm winters on record. We were on the tail end of a passing warm front so the weather today was pleasant yet slightly humid.

Dark Nation Mar 12, 2006 02:03 AM

Ok, I live in Phoenix, AZ. This place is called "Valley of the Sun" and for good reason: Its nororious for being dry, hot, and only having two 'seasons': Winter and Summer. Summer being the dominatn feature.

BUT! For a couple weeks in March and April we experience a sort of quasi-spring like situation, with georgeous partly-cloudy skies and rainy days as well. I swear this is the first time we've had a straight day of just rain in a long time. The recent rain means we finally stopped with the record no-days without rain scenario, something like over 100 at least days... I forgot the exact number though.

Qube Mar 12, 2006 06:31 PM

Meh, it's still winter out there, but it's been so mild this year, it's tolerable...and it's warming up a fair bit lately, so I can survive.

Stupid Canadian weather though, it won't surprise me to see another blizzard in May, just seems like something that would happen.

I need to move to a warmer climate though, for all that I hate winter.

Son of Wiseness Mar 12, 2006 06:55 PM

This winter sucked. Always so cold, but it never snowed. :( You can tell I like snow.

Mana Dragon Mar 12, 2006 07:38 PM

Hmm, I wonder where this season called winter is in north Texas, it was 85 degrees warm today, and partly cloudy, heck, a few days ago it was 93 degrees outside, in the fricken WINTER, my ass. Too dang warm already.

Spyer Mar 12, 2006 08:24 PM

Here in Hamilton, Ontario, it was 16 degrees today, but I was told that it was supposed to be -8 degrees on Wednesday. Its pretty crappy how much the weather fluctuates here. I mean, the odds are that there will be a huge winter storm and then Ontario will once again be covered in a blizzard of insanity! OH MAN!

kat Mar 13, 2006 01:10 AM

San Francisco weather can eat my ass. I know it's not much to complain as many other parts of the country can't see past their doorstep, they have so much snow but rain rain rain rain wind rain sun rain rain wind. Sideways rain, not fun. And it's been raining for seemingly forever and will rain for seemingly forever. It's fun to stay in with awful weather but with driving and getting to places (lots of walking in San Francisco), it's getting old.

I'm used to Los Angeles weather. Rain for a week, then sunshine until November.

Lady Miyomi Mar 13, 2006 01:24 AM

It's suppose to be around 80 tomorrow, but with rain. Only problem is there won't be too much time to enjoy it because it's going to get colder each day after that.

Rachelle Mar 13, 2006 01:40 AM

Weather last few days was crazy -- couldn't make it's mind up wether to drizzle, shine, be cloudy or what not. And it doesn't help that its starting to get pretty cold at night, and it's supposed to still be summer. :S

Yunnie Mar 13, 2006 05:09 PM

I'm getting sick and tired of this weather in mid-west US. Yesterday was hot and humid in 80s, then today dropped to 40s with wind blowing 25 mph... Oh, plus 3 tornado warnings were issued yesterday afternoon. How fun.

Excrono Mar 13, 2006 08:09 PM

Winter was really pissed in the Upper Midwest today. Heavy, wet snow starting falling last night, and accumulated to about 5-6inches troughout the day. To add insult to injury the heavy snow took out the power in our neighborhood at about 4am, causing me and the rest of the household to loose precious sleep and be in a really pissy mood as we got up in the pitch black to go to work. Driving in was a real mess, with just about eveyone sliding all over the road way. I almost got in an accident at least three times, and this was traveling about 30 blocks downtown on a city street. Luckily it was a slow day at work, with more than a few people not making it and a vast majority of clients staying home.

And then, when I get home from work and power on my rig, I find the outage has blown out my USB hub. Thankfully my two external hard drives were not affected.

NoMaD Mar 14, 2006 06:29 AM

Been having screwy weather lately in Australia. It occassionally rains pretty hard after a 35-40 degree C day, which is a welcome change for the most part because I hate hot weather, but eh, weird.

Akumu Mar 14, 2006 06:38 AM

The weather over here sucks, too. One day it's sunny and breezy and the next day is extremely windy and rainy, just in a matter of days. What I really hate is in the morning it'll be cold and then in the afternoon is hot. >_<
