Post Your Favorite Car
It goes between this:
http://www.greene-shipman.org/67firebird400.jpg and this: http://www.delorean-dmc12.co.uk/images/deln01.jpg And for anyone who didnt know, Firebird was designed orignally by John Z. Delorean! |
1999 Ford Crown Victoria
It's my current car at the moment, and I wouldn't want to drive any other. It's like the bastard child between a luxury car and a sports car, and its durable as all fuck. A lot of police cars are modified Crown Victorias for that reason. I mean, I've driven a Town Car and a Cadillac, and the Crown Victoria was better than both of them. |
I don't know anything about cars, but I would love to have a Ferrari Enzo.

A buddy of mine drove a low riding yellow pinto. Big dice gearshift, mini skull hanging from the rear view mirror, medium sized subwoofer in the trunk (large weighed the car to the ground), that car was so cool before it got stolen. When I eventually get around to it, I'll post up my own car.

Easily my favorite car, the 1967 GT500 E is perhaps the most bad ass car ever to come into existance.

I don't know about you, but I'm quite attached to the car below. I can't find any dirt ala information on this, or how you FUCKING DRIVE IT, but it'd still be neat to have. http://img293.imageshack.us/img293/8546/carrot5nd.jpg |
Looks like an older Posche 911 with a hood mod. Not sure if you can drive it though, unless the mouth goes down all the way.

This must be the sexiest car on the face of the Earth. |
I, for one, am not into vintage cars.
And being the 'down to earth' guy that I am, my 'dream' car is my next purchase, an Acura TL with dynamic pack (6 speed manual)... But until then, I kinda like my unpainted '93 Probe GT, with pages upon pages of modifications : http://www.gftracker.org/qm/images/char |

I'm a fan of the Mitsubishi Eclipse. Not the flashiest of cars but it's fast and sleek and, although I've never driven one, I hear it drives very smoothly.

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, no doubt in my mind.

My favorite car is MY car, which is a 1998 V70

Personally, I like this one. it's not too bad at all.

I'd like to take it back in the days to the Ford Model T.
|
My favorite of all time is:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:2006WRXSTi.jpg Too bad I still can't afford enough to buy one. |
http://www.chevelle-club.com/images/..._Silver_RF.JPG
Couldn't find a '71 so 70 will do. El Camino all the way. Half truck, half muscle car. Thats awesome material. |
My favorite car is probably:
http://alfadelo.turboblog.fr/photos/...er2kd1x1_1.jpg It can travel through time and everything! |
Is that a Back to The Future car or is a car? If it, what kind is it? I gotta check that monster machine out!
|
I've always been a fan of the Mitsubishi cars. Since I used to own a Mitsubishi Mirage, my new favorite is the Lancer:
http://www.dieselstation.com/wallpap...Lancer-004.jpg This one is the same color of the one I used to own. I can't wait to buy this car again someday! |

The Nissan 350Z. Hot. |
One of the other cars I've had a fascination with is the Plymouth Prowler. This automaker is, like DMC, now defunct. This was it's finest car produced since the 'Cuda. The unique modern-roadster design is so sexy. It was also rather affordable, somewhere in the range of the 350Z.
http://www.autofotos.com/2003%20Plym...Alphasonik.jpg |
Plymouth was a subsidiary of Dodge, and they generally made the same exact cars that Dodge made in the later years...the Prowler being the big exception.
The Plymouth Voyager > The Dodge Caravan ;) |

The best car ever: 1945 Willys Overland. I have one just like this baby:

Nissan Gt-r Skyline Z-tune
NISSAN GT-R SKYLINE Z-TUNE http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3..._01SMALLER.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...024SMALLER.jpg I do like this car quite a bit and for only $150,000, it could be mine. |

I have always wanted a Delorean, and I suspect I probably always will. Even without the Back to the Future AWESOME factor, they just look rad. And the DOORS, man! They OPEN! UP!

The 1967 GT500 E is a sexy fucking car.
I want a 1973 'Cuda myself. Except one that doesn't eject its rear windows when you're on the highway |
|
My favourite car would have to be the lamborghini diablo vt 6.0 (mettalic blue of course) (click here for image)
|
What the hell is that, Rock? I've never seen one before. Looks quite similar to Mercedes CLR 500, though.

Damn, you beat me to it. Yes the M6 is the sexiest car ever designed. |
I guess I'm going to be the third person to say the Lancer. I can't really say why. I mean, it's not some high end luxury car, and it's not really THAT nice, but there's something about them that I like.
|
I second the Bugatti Veyron however, I also favour the classics:
Jaguar XK120 (I prefer the coupe - I wonder where the Weismann comes from eh?) http://gallery.symbion.at/albums/oth...coupe_03_m.jpg Jaguar C Type http://www.seriouswheels.com/pics-jk...e-1280x960.jpg Bentley Speed Six (Blue Train Special) http://www.andrewnoakes.com/about/Bentley.jpg And one of my new favourites, the new Alfa Brera http://img.stern.de/_content/53/12/5...-GTV-v_750.jpg Now that's just filth. |

http://img206.imageshack.us/img206/3...804l8vu.th.jpg Another classic I have lusted over for years. They've always had one of them in a local Jag dealer around here, and I make sure to get a peek of it as I drive by. Another damn sexy car. |

I also love the Porsche 911 Carrera. http://www.automotriz.net/2003/galer...rrera-4-01.jpg |
I have two favorite cars, actually. I can never get enough of Honda Del Sols or Nissan Skyline V-Spec variants, as you can see below.

The most impressed it's ever left me was when I moved out here. From Oceanside, CA to Canton, OH, with my mom and sister tagging along because we all always wanted to take a road trip, there was still room for me to pack literally everything except my bed and dresser, and it still hauled ass across the country, still got 40 mpg, and most importantly, it was a very comfortable ride. I mean, I had my clothes, my sheets, blankets, pillow, computer, games, books, bike, skates, camping gear, tv, travel stuff for all three of us, and a big-ass cooler of drinks and snacks. Since then I've referred to it as my truck =P Although another vehicle I love is the Land Rover Discovery. My uncle has one and we used to take it offroading all the time. I can't believe the crazy shit you can do with one of those. If it were most other vehicles we would've destroyed it a couple dozen times. Land Rovers are the only exception to my tastes, in which I ussually like American and Japanese cars more than European. It's also an exception to my taste in which I ussually like vehicles a little more practical than that. I'm weird in the way I don't like most sports cars.. To me, something has to be able to seat four or more people, get over 40 mpg, or be able to tow over 2,000 pounds to be thought of as a good car. If it meets at least one of those, it's good. |
MY GOD. Wanting to own a Crown Victoria is wanting to be a chartered accountant.
|
http://thecarblog.com/images/skylineGT-R.jpg
I fucking want to buy one of these when they become available at a decent price in the States. I've only seen one, but the guy who drove it told me it cost him $60k, which is too far out of my price range. In reality, I may end up getting one of these instead. Sweet rides, especially for the price. http://www.japaneserides.com/photos/tc1.jpg A fully loaded one is a little over $20,000 and that includes all TRD modifications and body kits. :D This is what I have now, minus those wheels. http://www.nissanperformancemag.com/...ges/kyle17.jpg I seriously have to take ACTUAL pictures of my car. :\ EDIT: Now... As for DREAM CARS... Well, that's this orgasm-inducing beauty here... :D http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e2...0Junk/69SS.jpg |
I've always been a big fan of the Pontiac GTO. Mostly because it's something I might actually own in the future.

what is that? it looks just like the infinity g35 coupe. i'm guessing it's got a lot more balls under the hood. |
Meth, that's the new Skyline. The second picture Immortal has in his post is of the old one. Personally, I was disappointed that Nissan didn't bring over the other one as it was but instead opted to make it a body kit + spec revision to the G35.

Personally, I'd go with the Aston Martin DB9. If I had the money, I'd definitely buy one of those babies! Aside from that though, as a sensible option, I'd have to go with the car I currently have, the Peugeot 206. I love it. ^^; I loved it before I bought it, and owning it hasn't really changed my mind any.
